Community Subprojects definition

Community Subprojects means any socio-economic infrastructure or productive activity under the Rural Poverty Reduction Program to be carried out by a Community Association utilizing the proceeds of a Community Grant, and which meets the criteria set forth in the Project Operational Manual.
Community Subprojects means a small-scale activity consisting of, inter alia, the rehabilitation and/or construction and maintenance of priority social infrastructure to be carried out in a vulnerable community in one of the Selected Provinces under Component 1.2 of the Project selected pursuant to the criteria and procedures established in the PIM.”

Examples of Community Subprojects in a sentence

  • Goods and works required for Indigenous Community Subprojects not exceeding in the aggregate $1,800,000 shall be procured in accordance with procedures acceptable to the Bank.

  • Goods and works costing $50,000 equivalent or less per contract under Community Subprojects to be carried out in scattered or remote areas, may be procured in accordance with procedures for community participation, acceptable to the Bank, as provided in paragraph 3.15 of the Guidelines (including direct contracting in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 3.7 of the Guidelines), all as set forth in the Operational Manual.

  • Goods, works and services (other than consultants’ services) under Community Subprojects, costing less than $50,000 equivalent per contract, may be procured in accordance with the procedures set forth in the Operational Manual for community participation.

  • Goods and works costing $50,000 equivalent or less per contract under Community Subprojects, may be procured in accordance with procedures acceptable to the Bank as provided in paragraph 3.15 of the Guidelines (including direct contracting in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 3.7 of the Guidelines) all as set forth in the Operational Manual.

  • The Borrower, through MINSA, shall carry out and shall ensure that Beneficiary Communities carry out the Community Subprojects in accordance with the EMF, the RPF and the IPP prepared for the Project.

  • Financing of grants for small scale community investments (Community Subprojects) consisting, inter alia, of: (a) infrastructure investments such as for rural water supply and electrification; (b) social investments such as construction of day care centers and rehabilitation of schools and health posts; and (c) other productive investments such as for small-scale community agro-processing and minor irrigation schemes.

  • Goods estimated to cost $75,000 equivalent or less per contract but more than $30,000 equivalent per contract, and not exceeding in the aggregate: (a) $100,000 equivalent (in the case of goods other than goods for Community Subprojects); and (b) $20,000,000 equivalent (in the case of goods for Community Subprojects), may be procured under contracts awarded on the basis of shopping procedures in accordance with the provisions of paragraphs 3.5 and 3.6 of the Guidelines.

  • The Project consists of the following: Implementation of the Eligible Expenditure Programs Support the implementation of the Eligible Expenditure Programs, including the Community Subprojects under the Rural Poverty Reduction Program.

Related to Community Subprojects

  • Community water system means a public water system which serves at least 15 service connections used by year-round residents or regularly serves at least 25 year-round residents.

  • Noncommunity water system means a public water system that is not a community water system.
