Comodo CPS definition

Comodo CPS means the Comodo Certificate Practice Statement, a document setting out the working practices that Comodo employs for the Subscriber Services and which defines the underlying certificate processes and Repository operations, as may be amended from time to time;

  • Subject to the provisions of the Relying Party Agreement and limited to the value of the Warranty, Comodo warrants to you that Comodo has exercised reasonable care in following the validation process set forth in the appropriate Comodo CPS when issuing a relied upon Certificate.

  • Before taking any action in connection with or relying in any way on a Comodo-issued Certificate, you must read and agree to the terms and conditions of the Relying Party Agreement, this Warranty, and the Comodo CPS.

  • Company administrators must not approve any Certificate request made through an auto- enrollment URL if the administrator is unsure of Company’s ownership and control over the domain to which the Certificate will be issued or if all validation procedures required by the Comodo CPS have not been completed by Company.

  • Warranty: Comodo’s guarantee against loss associated with an online credit cardtransaction caused by Comodo’s failure to exercise reasonable care to perform the validation steps set forth in the Comodo CPS prior to the Certificate’s issuance.

  • All Certificates ordered through Certificate Manager will be validated by Company according to the validation procedures and process set forth in the Comodo CPS.

  • Upon Comodo’s acceptance of Subscriber’s Certificate Request, Comodo shall attempt to validate the information provided in accordance with the Comodo CPS, industry standards and, for EV Certificates, the EV Guidelines.

  • All Certificates ordered through the Certificate Manager shall be validated by Company prior to the Certificate’s issuance in accordance with the Comodo CPS.

  • As described herein, if a Certificate were issued in violation of the Comodo CPS, then each Covered Person may receive a Covered Loss up the Maximum Certificate Coverage per transaction until the total of all Covered Losses reached the Total Payment Limit.
