Competing Business definition

Competing Business means any business, individual, partnership, firm, corporation or other entity which wholly or in any significant part engages in any business competing with the Business in the Restricted Area. In no event will the Company or any of its affiliates be deemed a Competing Business.
Competing Business means any business that, in whole or in part, is the same or substantially the same as the Business.
Competing Business means any entity (other than the Employer and its Affiliates) that is conducting business that is the same or substantially the same as the Business of the Employer.

  • Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Executive may own up to one percent (1%) of the outstanding stock of a publicly held corporation which constitutes or is affiliated with a Competing Business.

More Definitions of Competing Business

Competing Business means any endeavor, activity or business which is competitive in any material way with the Business of the Company worldwide;
Competing Business shall have the meaning set forth in Section 6.1 hereof.
Competing Business means any person or entity that provides services or products that would compete with or displace any services or products sold or being developed for sale by the Company during Executive’s employment, or engages in any other activities so similar in nature or purpose to those of the Company that they would displace business opportunities or customers of the Company, including, without limitation, Best Buy Co., Inc., Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., Xxxxxx.xxx, Inc. and Target Corporation and any of their respective subsidiaries.
Competing Business means any business, individual, partnership, firm, corporation or other entity that provides the same or substantially similar products or services as those provided by the Company during the Executive’s employment, which includes, without limitation, the business of buying, managing, holding and selling medical office buildings.
Competing Business means any business or enterprise which is engaged in (a) the equipment leasing business; or (b) any business, business segment or product line engaged in by the Company on the date of termination of the Employee's employment with the Company (clauses (a) and (b) collectively referred to herein as the "Company's Business").
Competing Business means any person, concern or entity, which is engaged in, or conducts a business substantially the same as, the Aflac Business or any part thereof.
Competing Business has the meaning set forth in Section 6.8(a)(ii).
