Competitor of Licensee definition

Competitor of Licensee means a company whose principle business is one of the following: 1) any company engaged in the manufacturing and selling of personal digital assistants or PDAs (also known as handheld computers or palmtops); 2) any company engaged in the manufacturing and selling of mobile computing products, specifically laptop, notebook, or sub-notebook computers; 3) any company engaged in the manufacturing and selling of mobile telephone products which combine the features of a mobile phone with those of a PDA; and 4) any company engaged in the manufacturing and selling of two-way text messaging devices.
Competitor of Licensee means a company whose principle business is one of the following: 1) any company engaged in the manufacturing and selling of personal digital assistants or PDAs (also known as handheld computers or palmtops); 2) any company engaged in the manufacturing and selling of mobile computing products, specifically laptop, notebook, or sub-notebook computers; 3) any company engaged in the manufacturing and selling of mobile telephone products which combine the features of a mobile phone with those of a PDA; 4) any company engaged in the manufacturing and selling of two-way text messaging devices; and 5) any company engaged in the manufacturing and selling of software applications designed to enable access to enterprise databases and/or email content with a PDA or similar device, either wirelessly or via wireline synchronization.
Competitor of Licensee means any Person, other than Licensor or Licensee, in the business of providing securities brokerage services to retail traders, individual investors and registered investment advisers.

Related to Competitor of Licensee

  • Sublicensee means a third party to whom LICENSEE grants a sublicense of certain rights granted to LICENSEE under this Agreement.

  • Licensed User means an employee, contractor or agent of Client who is authorized by Client to access and use the Licensed Software, to whom a password and user ID has been issued by Client and whose access to the Licensed Software has not been terminated, suspended or surrendered.

  • Competitor means any individual, corporation, partnership or other entity that engages in (or that owns a significant interest in any corporation, partnership or other entity that engages in) any business conducted by the Company or any of its Affiliates.

  • Sub-Licensee means all person/ agency with whom Licensee has executed sub license agreement as per terms and conditions of license agreement executed between DMRC and the Licensee, for commercial utilization of the Bare Spaces.

  • License Key means a unique key-code that enables Licensee to run Software subject to the obtained User Pack.

  • License holder means an individual, corporation, partnership, governmental unit, association or any other entity to whom a license was issued under Iowa Code chapter 137C, 137D or 137F.

  • Competing Services means to provide, manage, supervise, or consult about (whether as an employee, owner, partner, stockholder, investor, joint venturer, lender, director, manager, officer, employee, consultant, independent contractor, representative or agent, or otherwise) any services that are similar in purpose or function to services you provided to the Company in the two year period preceding the termination of your employment, that might involve the use or disclosure of Confidential Information, or that would involve business opportunities related to Relevant Products.

  • Competing Products means any product or service in existence or under development that competes with any product or service of the Company Group about which the Participant obtained Confidential Information or for which the Participant provided advisory services or had sales, origination, marketing, production, distribution, research or development responsibilities in the last twenty-four (24) months of employment with the Company Group.

  • End User License Agreement means a license grant or end user license agreement governing software as further described in this Agreement or any applicable Appendix.

  • Direct Competitor means any individual, partnership, corporation, limited liability company, association, or other group, however organized, who competes with the Company in the full service restaurant business.

  • Trademark Licensee means any corporation, partnership, limited liability company or similar legal entity (and not a person) that has a written trademark license agreement with Registry Operator or its Affiliate, for use of the registered trademark owned by Registry Operator or its Affiliate, the textual elements of which correspond exactly to the .Brand TLD string operated by Registry Operator, where: (i) such license is valid under applicable law; (ii) such license is for the use of such trademark in the regular course of that entity’s business outside of the provision of TLD Registry Services, and is not primarily for the purpose of enabling registration or use of domain names in the TLD; (iii) such trademark is used continuously in that entity’s business throughout the Term; and (iv) the domain names in the TLD registered to the Trademark Licensee are required to be used for the promotion, support, distribution, sales or other services reasonably related to any of the goods and/or services identified in the trademark registration.

  • Named User License means the Metric and Licensed Level applicable to each Named User.
