Conference Area definition

Conference Area is defined as a 50-mile radius around the Conference Venue. The choice as to whether Exhibitor utilizes the services of a third party to help Exhibitor with various activities in connection with their space/booth, including assistance with setting up and/or removing shall be the Exhibitor’s own decision and at its own risk. In no event shall National Safety Council be liable or responsible to Exhibitor in any way related to the actions or inactions of such third parties in their assistance of Exhibitor, including any negligence or other injuries (up to and including death) caused directly or indirectly by such parties.

Examples of Conference Area in a sentence

  • Tenant’s use of the conference rooms in the Shared Conference Area shall be subject to availability and The Alexandria Landlord (or, if applicable, Event Operator) reserves the right to exercise its reasonable discretion in the event of conflicting scheduling requests among Users.

  • Conference center means a facility that:

  • Conference means all activities associated with any functions, room rentals, and/or meals on the dates indicated, that are the subject of this Agreement, as described on the Standard Agreement Coversheet form.

  • Prehearing conference means a proceeding scheduled and conduc- ted by a hearing officer to address issues in preparation for a formal administrative hearing.

  • Network Area means the 50 mile radius around the local school campus the Named Insured is attending.

  • Passenger area means the area designed to seat the driver and passengers while a motor vehicle is in operation and any area that is readily accessible to the driver or a passenger while in his or her seating position, including but not limited to any type of glove or storage compartment accessible to passengers or driver.

  • Conference of the Parties means the Conference of the Parties to the Convention;

  • Post-observation conference means a meeting, either in-person or remotely, between the supervisor who conducted the observation and the teaching staff member for the purpose of evaluation to discuss the data collected in the observation.

  • Video means the delivery of behavioral health services

  • Directory means the Directory of Certified "Minority Business Enterprises" and "Women Business Enterprises" maintained and published by the City of Chicago. The Directory identifies firms that have been certified as MBEs and WBEs, and includes both the date of their last certification and the area of specialty in which they have been certified. Contractors are responsible for verifying the current certification status of all proposed MBE, and WBE firms.

  • IntraLATA LEC Toll means IntraLATA Toll traffic carried solely by a Local Exchange Carrier and not by an IXC. "IntraLATA Toll Traffic" describes IntraLATA Traffic outside the Local Calling Area.

  • Carpet Area means the net usable floor, area of an Flat/Apartment, excluding the area covered by the external walls, areas under services shafts, excluding balcony or verandah area and exclusive open terrace, but includes the area covered by the internal partition walls of the flat/apartment;

  • ILUA Area means the geographical area in relation to which the Framework ILUA applies, as specified in Schedule 2 of the Framework ILUA;

  • licence area means the area constituted by the blocks that are the subject of a licence;

  • sensitive area means any of the following—

  • Drainage area means a geographic area within which stormwater, sediments, or dissolved materials drain to a particular receiving waterbody or to a particular point along a receiving waterbody.

  • Canadian Audio Conferencing For Audio Conferencing Dial Out and Toll Free Meet-Me Access (1) originating in the U.S. Mainland, Alaska, Hawaii, and the U.S. Virgin Islands and terminating in Canada, and (2) originating in Canada and terminating in the U.S. Mainland, Alaska, Hawaii, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

  • Room means a separate part of the inside of a building, such as a bedroom, living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom, laundry room, or utility room. To be considered a separate room, the room must be separated from adjoining rooms by built-in walls or archways that extend at least six inches from an intersecting wall. Half walls or bookcases count as room separators if built-in. Movable or collapsible partitions or partitions consisting solely of shelves or cabinets are not considered built-in walls. A screened in porch that is used as a living area is a room.

  • Public building means any structure, including exte- rior parts of the building, such as a porch, exterior platform or steps providing means of ingress or egress, used in whole or in part as a place of resort, assemblage, lodging, trade, traffic, occupancy, or use by the public or by 3 or more tenants.

  • Areas means such areas within the DAS Areas that are identified in Annexure A annexed to this Agreement;

  • Commercial building means a non-residential building other than an agricultural building, an industrial building or an institutional building.

  • Landscaped area means all the planting areas, turf areas, and water features in a landscape design plan subject to the Maximum Applied Water Allowance and Estimated Applied Water Use calculations. The landscaped area does not include footprints of buildings or structures, sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, decks, patios, gravel or stone walks, other pervious or non-pervious hardscapes, and other non-irrigated areas designated for non-development (e.g., open spaces and existing native vegetation).

  • Play area means an area of frequent soil contact by children of less than six years of age as indicated by, but not limited to, factors including the following: the presence of play equipment (sandboxes, swing sets, and sliding boards), toys, or other children’s possessions, observations of play patterns, or information provided by parents, residents, caregivers, or property owners.

  • Landing area means that part of a movement area intended for the landing or take-off of aircraft;

  • public telecommunications network means the telecommunications infrastructure authorised by a Party to be used to provide public telecommunications services between defined network termination points;

  • Built-Up Area and/or “Covered Area” in relation to a Flat shall mean the floor area of that Flat including the area of balconies and terraces, if any attached thereto, and also the thickness of the walls (external or internal) and the columns and pillars therein Provided That if any wall, column or pillar be common between two Flats, then one-half of the area under such wall column or pillar shall be included in the built-up area of each such Flat.
