Confined Spaces means areas within any Buc-ee’s location or facility that is considered to be confined spaces pursuant to the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 29, Part 1910.146, and may include, but is not limited to, fuel system sumps, product storage tanks, car wash pits and grit traps, stormwater drains/sumps, grease traps, and some excavations. Supplier shall comply with 29 CFR 1910.146. Supplier shall Indemnify Buc-ee’s for any Claims arising from Supplier’s failure to comply with this Section 10.2. Examples of Confined Spaces in a sentence

  • The Contractor is responsible for ensuring his/her workers and Subcontractors are adequately trained in confined space entry procedures in accordance with OSHA 1910.146, Permit Required Confined Spaces for General Industry.

  • Under the University’s confined space policy, where areas are defined as permit-required confined spaces, the Contractor shall only enter these permit-required spaces under the auspices of a written confined space permitting program that meets the requirements of OSHA’s Standard for Permit Required Confined Spaces (29 CFR 1910.146).

Confined Spaces means the interior of storm drains, sewers, vaults, utility pipelines, manholes, reservoirs, and any other such structure which is similarly surrounded by confining surfaces so as to permit an oxygen deficient atmosphere or the accumulation of dangerous gases or vapors. For permit required confined spaces, see Section 5157, General Industry Safety Orders, Title 8, California Code of Regulations. Confined Spaces means spaces that are not designed for continuous occupation but are provided for persons to enter and perform certain works (including inspection, maintenance and repairs) and that consequently may have limited or restricted means for entry or exit. Due to the likelihood of insufficient ventilation, the Contractor shall be aware of a potentially unhealthy or dangerous environment and he shall be deemed to have investigated and taken measures against such risks in every case.

  • Confined Space means a place the dimensions or nature of which necessitate working in a cramped position or without sufficient ventilation.)

  • Leased space means the individual storage space at the self-service facility which is rented to an occupant pursuant to a rental agreement.
