Construction quality assurance means a planned system of activ- ities that provide assurance that a facility is constructed as speci- fied in the design and that the materials used in construction are manufactured according to specifications. Construction quality assur- ance includes inspections, verifications, audits, and evaluations of materials and workmanship necessary to determine and document the quality of the constructed facility.
