Consumer Price. Index” refers to the “National Consumer Price Index for Urban Wage Earners and Clerical Workers,” published by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, United States Department of Labor (1967=100) and referred to herein as the “Index.”

More Definitions of Consumer Price

Consumer Price. Index shall mean the "U.S. City Average, All Items" Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers published by the Bureau of Labor Statistics of the United States Department of Labor (Base: 1982-1984=100), or any successor index thereto. If (i) a significant change is made in the number or nature (or both) of items used in determining the Consumer Price Index, or (ii) the Consumer Price Index shall be discontinued for any reason, Westboy shall request that the Bureau of Labor Statistics furnish a new index comparable to the Consumer Price Index, together with information which will make possible a conversion to the new index in computing the adjusted Capex Threshold Amount hereunder. If for any reason the Bureau of Labor Statistics does not furnish an index and such information, the Parties will instead mutually select, accept and use such other index or comparable statistic on the cost of living in Seattle, Washington that is computed and published by an agency of the United States or a responsible financial periodical of recognized authority.
