COVID-19 Effect definition

COVID-19 Effect means any event, condition, state of facts, change, occurrence, circumstance or development related to: (a) the presence, transmission, threat or fear of COVID-19; or (b) any mandatory or advisory restriction, quarantine, “shelter in place,” “stay at home,” workforce reduction, remote or telework policy, social distancing, shut down, closure, sequester or other Law issued by any Governmental Body in connection with, or in response to, COVID-19.
COVID-19 Effect means any (i) required or recommended quarantines, travel restrictions, or social distancing, in each case, issued by a Governmental Entity, (ii) factory shutdowns or slowdowns, workplace or worksite shutdowns or slowdowns or work from home requirements or recommendations, or shipment interruptions or slowdowns, in each case, related to or resulting from COVID-19, (iii) other measures initiated or occurring in response to COVID-19, and (iv) other events or conditions related to or resulting from COVID-19 and/or the response of any Governmental Entity thereto.

COVID-19 Effect means any (a) required or recommended quarantines, travel restrictions, or social distancing, in each case, issued by a Governmental Authority directly related to or resulting from COVID-19, (b) factory shutdowns or slowdowns, workplace, school or worksite shutdowns or slowdowns or work-from-home or distance or virtual learning requirements or recommendations, or shipment interruptions or slowdowns, in each case, directly related to or resulting from COVID-19, (c) other measures initiated or occurring directly in response to COVID-19 and (d) other events or conditions directly related to or resulting from COVID-19 and/or the response of any Governmental Authority thereto.
COVID-19 Effect means any event, condition, state of facts, change, occurrence, circumstance or development related to: (a) the presence, transmission, threat or fear of COVID- 19 or (b) any COVID-19 Measures.
COVID-19 Effect means the effect of laws, regulations, orders, directions, judicial decisions, decisions of arbitrators, or other measures enacted, issued or ordered by a Governmental Authority to control, address or otherwise manage the transmission of COVID-19.

Related to COVID-19 Effect

  • Required Effective Date means the relevant Initial Required Effective Date or Increased Required Effective Date (as those terms are defined below).

  • Nonstochastic effect means a health effect, the severity of which varies with the dose and for which a threshold is believed to exist. Radiation-induced cataract formation is an example of a nonstochastic effect. For purposes of these regulations, "deterministic effect" is an equivalent term.

  • Stochastic effect means a health effect that occurs randomly and for which the probability of the effect occurring, rather than its severity, is assumed to be a linear function of dose without threshold. Hereditary effects and cancer incidence are examples of stochastic effects. For purposes of these rules, “probabilistic effect” is an equivalent term.

  • Amendment No. 3 Effective Date has the meaning specified in Amendment No. 3.

  • Amendment No. 4 Effective Date has the meaning assigned to such term in Amendment No. 4.

  • Amendment No. 5 Effective Date has the meaning set forth in Amendment No. 5.

  • SEC Effective Date means the date the Registration Statement is declared effective by the Commission.

  • Amendment No. 2 Effective Date has the meaning specified in Amendment No. 2.

  • Change of Control Effective Date means the first date during the Change of Control Period (as defined in Section 7.2) on which a Change of Control occurs.   • €STR Index Cessation Effective Date means, in respect of an €STR Index Cessation Event, the first date on which €STR is no longer provided by the European Central Bank (or any successor administrator of €STR), as determined by the Issuer and notified by the Issuer to the Calculation Agent;

  • IPO Effective Date means the date upon which the Securities and Exchange Commission declares the initial public offering of the Company's common stock as effective.

  • OBFR Index Cessation Effective Date means, in relation to an OBFR Index Cessation Event, the date on which the Federal Reserve Bank of New York (or any successor administrator of the daily Overnight Bank Funding Rate) ceases to publish the daily Overnight Bank Funding Rate or the date as of which the daily Overnight Bank Funding Rate may no longer be used;

  • Order Form Effective Date means the date on which an Order Form comes into effect as indicated in that Order Form.

  • Early Opt-in Effective Date means, with respect to any Early Opt-in Election, the sixth (6th) Business Day after the date notice of such Early Opt-in Election is provided to the Lenders, so long as the Administrative Agent has not received, by 5:00 p.m. (New York City time) on the fifth (5th) Business Day after the date notice of such Early Opt-in Election is provided to the Lenders, written notice of objection to such Early Opt-in Election from Lenders comprising the Required Lenders.
