Dam Emergency Preparedness Plan definition

Dam Emergency Preparedness Plan means the Recipient’s plan setting out measures, including clear statements on the responsibility for operations decision making and related emergency communications, maps outlining inundation levels for various emergency conditions, flood warning system characteristics, and procedures for evaluating threatened areas and mobilizing emergency forces and equipment, for when facility failure is considered imminent or when expected operational flow release threatens downstream life, property, or economic operations that depend on river flow levels relating to the Large Dam to be constructed or targeted under a Large Dam Subproject (as hereinafter defined), in accordance with the provisions of the Environmental and Social Management Framework, as the same may be modified from time to time in consultation with the World Bank, and such term includes any schedules or annexes to such Plan.

  • Energy efficiency project means an energy efficiency measure or combination of measures undertaken in accordance with a standard offer or market transformation program.

  • Unforeseeable Financial Emergency means an unanticipated emergency that is caused by an event beyond the control of the Participant that would result in severe financial hardship to the Participant resulting from (i) a sudden and unexpected illness or accident of the Participant or a dependent of the Participant, (ii) a loss of the Participant's property due to casualty, or (iii) such other extraordinary and unforeseeable circumstances arising as a result of events beyond the control of the Participant, all as determined in the sole discretion of the Committee.
