Data Compromise definition

Data Compromise means any actual or reasonably suspected unauthorized access to or acquisition of computerized Data that compromises the security, confidentiality, or integrity of the Data, or the ability of City to access the Data.
Data Compromise means any actual or reasonably suspected unauthorized access, disclosure or use of Transmitted Data that compromises the security, confidentiality, or integrity of the Transmitted Data, or the ability of City to access the Transmitted Data.
Data Compromise means the unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, transmission and/or use of the Customer Data by a third party and/or the loss, theft, degradation, destruction, dissemination, distribution, erasure, copy and/or corruption of the Customer Data in any manner.

  • You further acknowledge and agree that we and the Member may withhold the Transaction proceeds or other credits or payments under the Agreement and/or transfer such funds if we suspect that you have processed a Prohibited Transaction, suffered a Data Compromise or any other security compromise, or potential or actual fraud, or if we or the Member are required to do so by a court order or applicable law.

  • Further, Sub-Merchant will indemnify Servicers for any Losses arising from a Data Compromise Event in accordance with Section 14 below.

  • If any Card Organization requires an audit of Sub-Merchant due to an actual or suspected Data Compromise Event, Sub-Merchant will cooperate with such audit.

  • Regardless of the number of unauthorized accesses, security breaches, or Data Compromise events, all activities resulting from (1) common intruders or a conspiracy of intruders, (2) unauthorized software installations, or (3) continuous or repeated actions, or exposure to the same general harmful condition, will be considered a single Data Incident.

Data Compromise means the unauthorised access, transmission or use of Data or the damage, erasure, copying, disruption, alteration, corruption, loss, theft, degradation, dissemination or distribution of the Data in any manner;
