Deputy Warden definition

Deputy Warden means the member of Council appointed, by By-law or resolution, pursuant to Section 242 of the Act, to act in the place of the head of Council (Warden) when the head of Council is absent or refuses to act or, when the office of the head of Council is vacant, and while so acting such member has all the powers and duties of the head of Council.

Examples of Deputy Warden in a sentence

  • Any employee who was a Deputy Warden on March 23, 2017, and who has group life insurance coverage in excess of the limitations of CGS §5- 257 shall be allowed to continue such coverage while a member of the bargaining unit.

  • This schedule shall also apply to all employees in the bargaining unit who were in the classification of Parole and Community Services manager and Deputy Warden on or before July 1, 2017.

  • Effective upon legislative approval but no sooner than July 1, 2019, employees in the classification of Deputy Warden who have not previously received a lump sum payment under the prior collective bargaining agreement for having obtained an Associate's, Bachelor's, and/or Master's Degree shall be eligible for the same benefits as provided in the NP-8 Collective Bargaining Agreement.

  • This will not apply to those Deputy Xxxxxxx promoted prior to April 1, 2018 who had their annualized longevity factored into their promotional rates for Deputy Warden.
