Design NTP definition

Design NTP means the Notice to Proceed issued by the Owner’s Representative authorizing A/E to commence the Design Services.

More Definitions of Design NTP

Design NTP means the Notice to Proceed issued by the Port Authority to the Lessee authorizing the Lessee to proceed with Design Work. Design Plan means the plan developed by the Lessee pursuant to Section 3.3.2 of the Design and Construction Requirements, subject to Port Authority Approval, that provides complete procedures for the implementation of the entire Design Work. Design Quality Control Plan means the plan developed by the Lessee pursuant to Section 6.1 of the Design and Construction Requirements, subject to Port Authority Approval, that provides a defined approach for how the Lessee will ensure that the Design Work complies with the requirements of the Project Documents and monitor such compliance. Design Work means all D&C Work related to the design, redesign, engineering and architecture for the Construction Project (including the New Improvements and the Central Hall)

Related to Design NTP

  • Design flow means the average annual flow or average daily flow specified in an approved facilities plan or approved plans and specifications, the flow specified in a WPDES permit, or the flow required to meet performance standards.

  • Design-build means a project delivery method in which the detailed design and subsequent construction is provided through a single contract with a Design-Build firm; a team, partnership, or legal entity that includes design professionals and a builder. The Design-Build Project delivery shall be implemented in accordance with Tex. Gov’t Code § 2166.2531.2

  • Design Phase means the period during which the Transporter shall prepare a draft project proposal for publication in accordance with section 4.3;

  • Design engineer means a person professionally qualified and duly licensed in New Jersey to perform engineering services that may include, but not necessarily be limited to, development of project requirements, creation and development of project design and preparation of drawings and specifications.

  • design pressure means the maximum pressure that a pressure vessel or plant is designed to withstand safety when operating normally;

  • Design Standards means the standards developed as a requirement of the Programmatic Agreement

  • Design Criteria Package means concise, performance-oriented drawings or specifications for a public construction project. The purpose of the Design Criteria Package is to furnish sufficient information to permit Design-Build Firms to prepare a bid or a response to the District’s Request for Proposals, or to permit the District to enter into a negotiated Design- Build Contract. The Design Criteria Package must specify performance- based criteria for the public construction project, including the legal description of the site, survey information concerning the site, interior space requirements, material quality standards, schematic layouts and conceptual design criteria of the project, cost or budget estimates, design and construction schedules, site development requirements, provisions for utilities, stormwater retention and disposal, and parking requirements applicable to the project. Design Criteria Packages shall require firms to submit information regarding the qualifications, availability, and past work of the firms, including the partners and members thereof.

  • Design Change is a change in work and/or materials shown in the Schedule of Items and described in Plans or specifications that has been mutually agreed to in writing or ordered by Contracting Officer. Changes of a minor nature (such as adjustment in horizontal and vertical alignment, that do not exceed specified tolerance, necessary to maintain or balance earthwork quantities substantially as designed) and variation in quantities, as described in B5.251, shall not be considered Design Changes.

  • Design means the appearance of the whole or a part of a product resulting from the features of, in particular, the lines, contours, colours, shape, texture and/or materials of the product itself and/or its ornamentation;

  • Mechanical Completion means that (a) all components and systems of the Project have been properly constructed, installed and functionally tested according to EPC Contract requirements in a safe and prudent manner that does not void any equipment or system warranties or violate any permits, approvals or Laws; (b) the Project is ready for testing and commissioning, as applicable; (c) Seller has provided written acceptance to the EPC Contractor of mechanical completion as that term is specifically defined in the EPC Contract.

  • Project Scope means the description or activity of work to be accomplished on the project.
