Development and Production Operations definition

Development and Production Operations means all operations, other than Exploration Operations, conducted to facilitate the Development and Production of Hydrocarbons from the Contract Area to the Delivery Point, but excluding the refining and distribution of Hydrocarbon products.

  • Each Annual Work Program and corresponding Annual Budget shall be broken down into the various Exploration Operations and, as applicable, the Appraisal operations for each Appraisal Area and the Development and Production Operations for each Development and Production Area.

  • The Licensee shall diligently and in good faith carry on all Exploration Operations, Appraisal Operations, Development and Production Operations, other Petroleum Operations and any other activities, operations or obligations pursuant to this Licence or in the Licence Area in accordance with the Best Industry Practice and the relevant approved Work Programme and Budget.

  • The Development and Production Operations of the Annual Operations Plan mentioned in letter (a) above are of mandatory performance.

  • In the event there are facilities and equipment in an area adjacent to or near the Contract Area which have excess capacity that could be utilized by Contractor, the Ministry may, considering the efficiency and economic management of existing resources, cause such facilities and equipment to be made available to Contractor for any Development and Production Operations, provided, however, that such Development and Production Operations shall not interfere with the ongoing operations in that area.

  • THE CONTRACTOR will, in the exercise of this right, perform the activities and conduct the operations that are the matter of the same at its sole cost and risk, providing all resources required to project, prepare and perform activities and Exploration, Evaluation, Development and Production Operations in the Contract Area.

  • THE CONTRACTOR will begin said Development and Production Operations in accordance with the schedule presented.

  • Petroleum Costs for Exploration, Development and Production Operations as detailed above shall be separately identified for each Development and Production Area.

Related to Development and Production Operations

  • Production Operations means all operations conducted for the purpose of producing Petroleum from the Development Area after the commencement of production from the Development Area including the operation and maintenance of all necessary facilities therefor.

  • Exploration Operations means any operations carried out for or in connection with the exploration for minerals, and includes -

  • Development Area means that area to which a development plan is applicable.

  • Development Work means any work carried out in relation to the physical construction of a mine;

  • Development Site means any parcel or lot on which exists or which is intended for building development other than the following:

  • Manufacturing operation means a process in which materials are changed, converted, or transformed into a different state or form from which they previously existed and includes refining materials, assembling parts, and preparing raw materials and parts by mixing, measuring, blending, or otherwise committing such materials or parts to the manufacturing process. "Manufacturing operation" does not include packaging.

  • Research Project means a discrete scientific endeavor to answer a research question or a set of research questions related to medical marijuana and is required for a medical marijuana research license.

The waste containment area includes, but is not limited to, settling basins and areas within berms and diversions which separate uncontaminated stormwater.

  • Development Plans means a coherent set of operations defined and financed exclusively by the OCTs in the framework of their own policies and strategies of development, and those agreed upon between an OCT and the Member State to which it is linked;
