Device Use. The student should use the assigned device for educational purposes only. The student is expected to bring his or her assigned device to all classes each day with a full battery charge. The use of each device assigned to the student is subject to the acceptable use guidelines described in BOE policies and regulations. Failure to comply may result in the immediate termination of the student’s rights of possession and the District may repossess the Chromebook.

Examples of Device Use in a sentence

  • If the Server Software is licensed on a Per Device Use basis, then a separate CAL must be purchased for each specific Device that accesses or utilizes Server Software (which may access or utilize the services of the Server Software on any number of Servers running the Server Software) and each Per Device CAL must be dedicated to a single Device.

  • A student whose technology device is lost, stolen, or damaged due to a violation of this Student Technology Device Use Agreement, purposeful action, and/or negligence is subject to consequences as outlined in this Agreement.

  • The Student agrees, on termination of this Student Technology Device Use Agreement, termination of initiative assigning this equipment, the Student’s withdrawal from the School (for any reason), or at the request of the School, to return the equipment at the Student’s own expense, in good condition, allowing for reasonable wear and tear, and free and clear of encumbrances, to the School.

  • The Student will not assign this Student Technology Device Use Agreement or any equipment under the use agreement, or any interest in the use agreement or equipment, without the School’s written consent.

  • Responsible Device Use All users of District-issued devices must follow the expectations outlined in District Policy and Operating Guidelines IFBGA: Responsible use of the Enterprise Network, JD: Student Discipline/Student Code of Conduct, and JS: Student Fines, Fees and Charges.

  • I understand if my child violates the guidelines agreed to in the ARK Schools Student Device Use Agreement or Acceptable Use Policy, his/her privilege to use the technology may be restricted or removed and he/she may be subject to disciplinary action.

  • Your right of possession and use is limited to and contingent upon your full and complete agreement with the terms of this Device Use Agreement.

  • Although you are declining to pay the Use of Technology Fee and its related coverages, you are still required to sign a 1:1 Device Use Agreement (see separate document).

  • The term of this Student Technology Device Use Agreement is from August 9, 2020 until the last day of distance learning, as determined by the School, unless earlier terminated by the School or upon a student’s withdrawal from the School, whichever is earlier.

  • A student’s privilege of possession and use of a Dell laptop computer (a “technology device”) issued by the School is limited to, and conditioned upon, full and complete compliance with the applicable standards for acceptable use of a device set out in this Student Technology Device Use Agreement, as well as the School’s Acceptable Use Policy, Student Handbook, and/or Student Code of Conduct.

Related to Device Use

  • Office use means lands, buildings or structures used or designed or intended for use for the practice of a profession, the carrying on of a business or occupation and, for greater certainty, but without in any way limiting the generality of the foregoing, shall include but not be limited to the office of a physician, lawyer, dentist, architect, engineer, accountant, real estate or insurance agency, insurance company, veterinarian, surveyor, appraiser, financial institution, consumer loan company, employment agency, advertising agency, consulting firm, business service, investment company, security broker, mortgage company, medical clinic, builder, land developer;

  • Routine use means the disclosure of a record without the consent of the subject or subjects, for a purpose which is compatible with the purpose for which the record was collected. It includes disclosures required to be made by statute other than the public records law, Iowa Code chapter 22.

  • re-use means any operation by which products or components that are not waste are used again for the same purpose for which they were conceived;

  • Service User means your customer, (i.e., the purchaser of the Offering).

  • Service Users means each person who is referred or presents to the Provider as part of the provision of the Services;
