Disputes Concerning Membership 25 - Any dispute arising as to an employee's membership in the Union shall be reviewed by the designated representative of the Employer and a representative of the Union, and if not resolved, may be decided at Step III of the grievance procedure. However, the employee may be retained at work while the dispute is being resolved.
Disputes concerning labor standards Disputes arising out of the labor standards provisions of this contract shall not be subject to the general disputes clause of this contract. If the dispute concerning a question of fact arising under the terms of this Contract is not disposed of in a reasonable period of time by the Contractor’s Project Manager and the County‘s Project Manager, such matter shall be brought to the attention of the County Deputy Purchasing Agent by way of the following process:

Contract Disputes The Parties shall deal in good faith and attempt to resolve potential disputes informally. Cost of Litigation In case the STATE shall, without any fault on its part, be made a party to any litigation commenced by or against the CONTRACTOR in connection with this Contract, the CONTRACTOR shall pay all costs and expenses incurred by or imposed on the STATE, including attorneys' fees.
Suspension of unsafe Construction Works (i) Upon recommendation of the Authority’s Engineer to this effect, the Authority may by notice require the Contractor to suspend forthwith the whole or any part of the Works if, in the reasonable opinion of the Authority’s Engineer, such work threatens the safety of the Users and pedestrians.
Disputes between an Investor and a Contracting Party (1) Any dispute concerning an investment between an investor of one Contracting Party and the other Contracting Party shall, if possible, be settled amicably.
