Donations and Grants definition

Donations and Grants collectively, means those donations and grants, either cash or benefits in kind or services provided free of charge to promote healthcare, scientific research or education without the obligation to reimburse such benefits or any refund thereof. Unless otherwise provided herein, donations and grants must mean donations and grants within the meaning stipulated in Section 8 hereof and must include donations and grants provided about activities with patient organisations.
Donations and Grants collectively, means those donations and grants (either cash or benefits in kind) stipulated in the Section 9 hereof.

Examples of Donations and Grants in a sentence

  • Donations and Grants to Patient Organisations or as part of Community Investments to charities and other non-profit non-HCOs are subject to separate disclosure and thus excluded.

  • Donations and Grants to HCOs that support healthcare, including donations and grants (either cash or benefits in kind) to institutions, organisations or associations that are comprised of HCPs and/or that provide healthcare (governed by Article 12).Contribution to costs related to Events.

  • Compensation Plan means any program, plan or similar arrangement (other than employment contracts for a single individual) relating generally to compensation, pension, employment or similar arrangements with respect to which any Company, any Affiliate of any Company or any ERISA Affiliate of any of them has any obligation or liability, contingent or otherwise, under any Requirement of Law other than that of the United States.

  • Education program means any program that is principally engaged in the provision of education, including, but not limited to, early childhood education, elementary and secondary education, postsecondary education, special education, job training, career and technical education, and adult education, and any program that is administered by an educational agency or institution.

  • Compensation Plans shall have the meaning set forth in Section 3.8(b).

  • Option Plans has the meaning set forth in Section 2.6 below.

  • Option Plan has the meaning ascribed to it in section "4.7" hereinbelow;

  • Equity Awards will mean Executive’s outstanding stock options, stock appreciation rights, restricted stock units, performance shares, performance stock units and any other Company equity compensation awards.

  • Incentive Plans means any incentive, bonus, deferred compensation or similar plan or arrangement currently or hereafter made available by Employer in which Executive is eligible to participate.

  • Stock Plan means any stock incentive, stock option, stock ownership or employee benefits plan of the General Partner.

  • Cooperative education program means a written voluntary agreement between and among districts to provide certain educational programs for pupils in certain groups of districts. The written agreement shall be approved by all affected districts at least annually and shall specify the educational programs to be provided and the estimated number of pupils from each district who will participate in the educational programs.

  • Alliance means the Public Service Alliance of Canada;

  • Loan Program means the State Treasurer’s Interest-Free Loan Program for Colorado School Districts authorized pursuant to the Loan Program Statutes.

  • Equity Plans meanss the stock option and incentive plans adopted and maintained by the Company from time to time.

  • Awards means Options, RSUs and PSUs granted to a Participant pursuant to the terms of the Plan;

  • Sub-consultants means an entity to whom/which the Consultant subcontracts any part of the Services while remaining solely liable for the execution of the Contract.

  • Palliative and supportive care means care and support aimed mainly at lessening or controlling pain or symptoms; it makes no attempt to cure the Covered Person's terminal Illness or terminal Injury.

  • Indicators of student progress and growth means the results of assessment(s) of students as defined in N.J.A.C. 6A:8, Standards and Assessment.

  • Educational program means a program for educating and preparing physician assistants which is approved by the board.

  • Affordable housing program(s means any mechanism in a municipal Fair Share Plan prepared or implemented to address a municipality’s fair share obligation.

  • Number of Students Who Began Program means the number of students who began the program who are scheduled to complete the program within the reporting calendar year.

  • Stock Plans has the meaning set forth in Section 3.1(c).

  • Stock Appreciation Rights or “SAR” means a right granted to a Participant under Section 6(c).

  • RQFII means a Renminbi qualified foreign institutional investor approved pursuant to the relevant PRC regulations (as amended from time to time).
