Medicare means the “Health Insurance for the Aged Act,” Title XVIII of the Social Security Amendments of 1965, as then constituted or later amended.
Third party administrator or "administrator" means the same as that term is defined in Section 31A-1-301.
Medicaid means that means-tested entitlement program under Title XIX of the Social Security Act, which provides federal grants to states for medical assistance based on specific eligibility criteria, as set forth at Section 1396, et seq. of Title 42 of the United States Code, as amended, and any statute succeeding thereto.
Third Party Administrator (TPA means any organization or institution that is licensed by the IRDA as a TPA and is engaged by the Company for a fee or remuneration for providing Policy and claims facilitation services to the Insured / Insured Person as well as to the Company for an insurable event.
City Administrator means the City Administrator of the City.
Encounter means a record of a medically-related service rendered by an AHCCCS-registered provider to a member enrolled with a contractor on the date of service.
Potential Enrollee means a Medical Assistance Recipient who may voluntarily elect to enroll in a given managed care program, but is not yet an Enrollee of an MCO.
Facility administrator means chief probation officer, sheriff, marshal, chief of police or other official charged by law with administration of the facility.
pseudonymisation means the processing of personal data in such a manner that the personal data can no longer be attributed to a specific data subject without the use of additional information, provided that such additional information is kept separately and is subject to technical and organisational measures to ensure that the personal data are not attributed to an identified or identifiable natural person;

Covered policy means a policy of commercial risk insurance, professional liability insurance or public entity insurance.

Medicaid Provider Agreement means an agreement entered into between a state agency or other such entity administering the Medicaid program and a health care provider or supplier under which the health care provider or supplier agrees to provide services for Medicaid patients in accordance with the terms of the agreement and Medicaid Regulations.

Provider Number means an identifying number issued to each homecare worker who is enrolled as a provider through the Department.
