Electronic Data Processor definition

Electronic Data Processor means a natural person, partnership or corporation authorized in writing by the Insured or an Investment Adviser to perform services as a data processor of checks presented to the Insured by a customer or Financial Institution, but excluding any such processor who acts as a transfer agent or in any other agency capacity in issuing checks, drafts or securities for the Insured, A Federal Reserve Bank or clearinghouse will not be construed to be an Electronic Data Processor.
Electronic Data Processor means a natural person, partnership, corporation or any other business organization with the Insured’s Written authorization to perform services as data processor of checks drawn by a customer on an account at the Insured. A Federal Reserve Bank or clearinghouse shall not be an Electronic Data Processor.
Electronic Data Processor means a natural person, partnership or corporation authorized by the “Insured” to perform services as a data processor of the “Insured’s” checks or other accounting records (not including preparation or modification of computer software or programs). A Federal Reserve Bank or clearinghouse shall not be construed to be an “electronic data processor”.
