Eligible Local Government definition

Eligible Local Government means a local government in Florida that meets the SHIP Program eligibility requirements.
Eligible Local Government means a local government that is eligible to apply for and receive CDBG funds under the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s State and Small Cities Program pursuant to 24 CFR 570.3.

  • Each Incentive Eligible Local Government shall receive a share of the 5% County Incentive Fund set forth in Section B.2.iii, distributed pro rata among only Incentive Eligible Local Governments as set forth in Exhibit G.

  • A Local Government receiving Settlement Proceeds pursuant to Section B.4.a shall be an Incentive Eligible Local Government if every municipality in the Local Government's county with population of at least 30,000 has executed this MOA by October 1, 2021, but no later than any such deadline set in the National Settlement Agreement for the highest possible participation in incentive structures for North Carolina.


More Definitions of Eligible Local Government

Eligible Local Government. MEANS A MUNICIPALITY OR A COUNTY.
Eligible Local Government means a State (as hereinafter defined) or a Municipality (as hereinafter defined) in the territory of the Borrower which meets the eligibility criteria set forth in the Operational Manual to participate under Part E of the Project;
Eligible Local Government means an eligible county, eligible council of governments, or eligible economic development district; except that, if a county is determined by the division to be ineligible based on the county's failure to meet the criteria specified in subsection (1)(d) of this section or if a county is unable to administer the relief program, eligible municipalities within the county, either acting separately or as a group, constitute an eligible local government and may participate in the relief program.
Eligible Local Government means a government has adopted and notified the Department of its adoption of a solid waste management plan and short-term work program update that the Department has determined meets the Minimum Standards and Procedures for Solid Waste Management Planning.
Eligible Local Government means a Local Government (as hereinafter defined), which is deemed to be eligible on the basis of the eligibility criteria referred to in Section 2 of the PIP (as hereinafter defined), for accessing a Local Development Grant (as hereinafter defined) or a Capacity Building Grant;
Eligible Local Government means any local government which qualifies as eligible to participate in the Florida Small Cities Community Development Block Grant Program in accordance with s. 102(a)(7) of Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended, and applicable federal regulations, and any eligibility requirements which may be imposed by this act or by department rule.
Eligible Local Government as used in these Rules means a county or a municipality that is incorporated under the laws of the State of Tennessee and is organized with legal authority to construct and maintain its own local roads.
