EU Model Clauses definition

EU Model Clauses means the (Standard Contractual Clauses (processors)) or any subsequent version thereof published by the European Commission (which will automatically apply). The Standard Contractual Clauses current as of the effective date of the Agreement are attached hereto as Appendix 4.
EU Model Clauses means the standard contractual clauses for the transfer of personal data to processors established in third countries which do not ensure an adequate level of data protection under Directive 95/46/EC, pursuant to the European Commission Decision of 5 February 2010;
EU Model Clauses means the standard contractual clauses for Processors as approved by the European Commission pursuant to Decision C (2010)593, as they may be amended or replaced from time to time.

  • The Data Processor will not process Personal Data in, or transfer Personal Data from the EEA or the UK to, a Third Country unless the Data Processor (or sub-processor (as applicable) which will be processing the Personal Data in such Third Country) complies with the data importer’s obligations set out EU Model Clauses which are hereby incorporated into and form part of this Agreement by reference.

  • Paragraph 3 (Processing Details) of this Data Processing Agreement will apply for the purposes of Appendix 1 to the EU Model Clauses.

  • The Data Controller(s) will comply with the data exporter’s obligations in such EU Model Clauses.


More Definitions of EU Model Clauses

EU Model Clauses means the standard contractual clauses for Processors as approved by the European Commission pursuant to Decision C (2010) 593, as they may be amended or replaced from time to time.
EU Model Clauses means the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission on 04 June 2021 for the transfer of Personal Information from data controllers located in the European Union to data controllers or data processors established outside the European Union or European Economic Area.
EU Model Clauses means the clauses at Schedule 2, being the standard contract clauses (controller to controller) contained in the European COMMISSION DECISION of 27 December 2004 amending Decision 2001/497/EC as regards the introduction of an alternative set of standard contractual clauses for the transfer of personal data to third countries decision (2004/915/EC); or any similar standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission which may contain modifications or supersede them.
EU Model Clauses means the standard contractual clauses annexed to the European Commission's Implementing Decision 2021/914 of 4 June 2021;
EU Model Clauses means the Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/914 establishing Standard Contractual Clauses for data transfers to Third Countries. For purposes of this DPA, the applicable modules within the EU Model Clauses are MODULE TWO (Transfer Controller to Processor) and/or MODULE THREE (Transfer Processor to Processor). For the avoidance of doubt, neither MODULE ONE (Transfer Controller to Controller) nor MODULE FOUR (Transfer Processor to Controller) shall apply to this DPA.
