All Float contained in the Project Schedule, as shown in the initial Project Baseline Schedule or as generated thereafter, shall be considered a Project resource available to either Party or both Parties as needed to absorb delays caused by any event, achieve schedule milestones, interim completion dates and/or Completion Deadlines.
When acceptable to the Owner, the initially accepted schedule shall be the Baseline Schedule for comparison to actual conditions throughout the Contract duration.
Float time contained in the Baseline Schedule is not for the exclusive benefit of the Contractor or the Owner, but belongs to the Project and may be consumed by either party.
Unless indicated otherwise in the Contract Documents, the Contractor shall develop the Baseline Schedule and its execution plan to provide a minimum of 10 percent total float at the project level at acceptance of the Baseline Schedule.
Contractor shall identify all proposed changes to schedule logic to Owner and to A/E via an executive summary accompanying the updated schedule for review prior to final implementation of revisions into a revised Baseline Schedule.
