EUTELSAT Space Segment definition

EUTELSAT Space Segment means the space segment owned or leased by EUTELSAT as defined in the Convention;
EUTELSAT Space Segment means the space segment owned or leased by EUTELSAT for the purpose of the objectives listed under paragraphs (a), (b), (c) and (e) of Article III of the Convention;
EUTELSAT Space Segment means in-orbit satellites and all other related infrastructure owned, leased or operated by or on behalf of Eutelsat to support the operation of the satellites;

Examples of EUTELSAT Space Segment in a sentence

  • The Sublessee wishes to sublease a ****(1) transponder in a satellite of the EUTELSAT Space Segment collocated at 13o East and presently identified as Hot Bird-6 transponder number 123 ****(1) Sublessee will pay to TÜRKSAT an annual amount of ****(1) EURO and TÜRKSAT is willing to accept such sublease on the terms and conditions hereinafter contained.

  • Such satellites and associated equipment do not form part of the EUTELSAT Space Segment within the meaning of paragraph (h) of Article I of the Convention.

  • These requirements are necessary for ensuring an adequate level of protection to other services carried via the EUTELSAT Space Segment as well as to services carried via other satellite networks.

  • The subleased capacity will be provided by means of ****(1) in a satellite of the EUTELSAT Space Segment, with major technical characteristics as defined in Table 1 to this Annex.

  • Customer Premises Equipment or "CPE" means equipment employed on the premises of a Person other than a Carrier to originate, route or terminate Telecommunications (e.g., a telephone, PBX, modem pool, etc.).

  • Supplier Operations means all assets, processes and systems (including information systems), data (including Customer data), personnel, and sites, used or processed by Supplier from time to time in the performance of this Agreement.

  • Supplier System means the information and communications technology system used by the Supplier in performing the Services including the Software, the Equipment and related cabling (but excluding the Customer System);

  • Customer System means the Customer's computing environment (consisting of hardware, software and/or telecommunications networks or equipment) used by the Customer or the Supplier in connection with this Contract which is owned by or licensed to the Customer by a third party and which interfaces with the Supplier System or which is necessary for the Customer to receive the Services;

  • Satellite means any satellite owned by the Issuer or any of its Restricted Subsidiaries and any satellite purchased by the Issuer or any of its Restricted Subsidiaries pursuant to the terms of a Satellite Purchase Agreement, whether such satellite is in the process of manufacture, has been delivered for launch or is in orbit (whether or not in operational service).

  • Spacecraft (9) means active and passive satellites and space probes.

  • Customer Premises means premises owned, controlled or occupied by the Customer which are made available for use by the Supplier or its Sub-Contractors for the provision of the Goods and/or Services (or any of them);

  • Network Area means the 50 mile radius around the local school campus the Named Insured is attending.

  • Construction Phase Services means the coordination, implementation and execution of the Work required by this Agreement, which are further defined in Article 8.

  • Work Site means the site where the Work is being performed.

  • Host At Destination means the person with whom the Insured is sharing prearranged overnight accommodations in the host's home.

  • Customer Systems means the Customer's information technology infrastructure, including computers, software, hardware, databases, electronic systems (including database management systems) and networks, whether operated directly by Customer or through the use of third-party services.

  • Signaling System 7 (SS7) means a signaling protocol used by the CCS Network.

  • smart metering system means an electronic system that is capable of measuring electricity fed into the grid or electricity consumed from the grid, providing more information than a conventional meter, and that is capable of transmitting and receiving data for information, monitoring and control purposes, using a form of electronic communication;

  • Combined sewer system means a system for conveying both sanitary sewage and storm water runoff.

  • Operating System refers to the software that manages Hardware for Programs and other software.

  • Signaling System 7 (SS7 means a signaling protocol used by the CCS Network.

  • Satellite services means communications capabilities that utilize an on-orbit satellite for transmitting the signal from one location to another.

  • Custom Local Area Signaling Service Features (CLASS) means certain call-management service features that are currently available from SBC-13STATE’s local networks. These could include: Automatic Call Back; Automatic Recall; Call Trace; Caller Identification and related blocking features; Calling Number Delivery; Customer Originated Trace; Distinctive Ringing/Call Waiting; Selective Call Forward; and Selective Call Rejection.

  • Customer Site means the site owned or leased by the Customer or any other site used to provide the Service, which is directly connected to a PoP managed by Liquid Telecom, as set out in the COF;

  • Synchronous Optical Network (SONET means the optical interface standard that allows inter-networking of transmission products from multiple vendors. The base rate is 51.84 Mbps (“OC 1/STS 1”) and higher rates are direct multiples of the base rate, up to 13.22 Gbps.

  • Service Area means the geographic area approved by the commissioner within which an issuer is authorized to offer a Medicare Select policy.

  • Payload means all property to be flown or used on or in a Launch Vehicle.

  • Installation Services means all those services ancillary to the supply of the Plant and Equipment for the Facilities, to be provided by the Contractor under the Contract; e.g., transportation and provision of marine or other similar insurance, inspection, expediting, site preparation works (including the provision and use of Contractor’s Equipment and the supply of all construction materials required), installation, testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning, operations, maintenance, the provision of operations and maintenance manuals, training, etc.

  • Base station means the station as set out in Part-II (SOQ) hereof where the vehicle(s) / equipment shall be permanently based, (i.e. based for minimum period of 10 (Ten) days at a stretch) which may be changed at the discretion of the Company.

  • Installation Site means the site at which the Product is originally installed.
