Exercise Day definition

Exercise Day means the day written notice of the exercise of an Option is received by the Corporation;

Exercise Day means the day specified in the Confirmation on which the exercise of the option becomes effective. If the agreed Exercise Day is not a Business Day, the Exercise Day shall be the next following Business Day;

Exercise Day means the Business Day on which the exercise of the related option becomes effective;

Examples of Exercise Day in a sentence

• A holder may exercise an Options Contract having a particular expiry month on any trading day up to and including the Last Exercise Day for Options Contracts of the same option series having that expiry month and shall do so by giving to the writer an exercise instruction by the time specified for that purpose in, and in accordance with, the Rules (or as otherwise from time to time prescribed by the Exchange and SEOCH).

• The value of the In-Kind Exercise Payment Stock shall be the closing bid price of the Company's Common Stock on the business day immediately prior to the Exercise Day.

• An Options Contract in a particular option series which has not been validly exercised shall automatically expire at the System Input Cutoff Time on the Last Exercise Day of that expiry month of Options Contracts in that option series.

• The day that the items in this Section 8.(i), (ii) and (iii) are completed shall be deemed to be the Exercise Day (the "Exercise Day").

• Payment to the Company by the Option holder of the Exercise Price of the Option may be in: (i) cash, (ii) cashier's check, (iii) certified check, or, (iv) wholly or partially in the form of Common Stock of the Company that has been held by the option holder for at least six months prior to the Exercise Day (the "In-Kind Exercise Payment Stock").
