Extra Board Operator definition

Extra Board Operator means an FTO who picks the Extra Board 17 or Report and works all assignments placed on the Extra Board for his/her eight-hour guarantee.
Extra Board Operator means a person available to work all service on a scheduled basis as needed and guaranteed thirty (30) hours of work per week.

Examples of Extra Board Operator in a sentence

  • If more operators are needed, all remaining work will be assigned to the Extra Board in reverse booking order, with the lowest Extra Board Operator for that day receiving the largest piece of remaining unassigned work and proceeding in this manner until all work is assigned.

  • An Extra Board Operator must be given at least eight (8) hours off duty between daily assignments, but has the option of taking ten (10) hours.

  • In the event an Extra Board Operator is "run around" by the dispatcher, although available for duty at the time, such Extra Board Operator shall be guaranteed pay for such "run around" regardless of job assignment for the day.

  • Should an Extra Board Operator fail to make any report to which s/he is assigned, the amount of the weekly minimum guarantee of pay shall be reduced by one-fifth (1/5) of said guarantee for each day the Extra Board Operator fails to report properly.

  • Section 1: No Extra Board Operator may be excused from taking a run that falls to his/her lot.
