Hour Guarantee. Employees reporting for work shall be guaranteed at least four (4) hours pay unless otherwise mutually agreed.

The Breeder also gives a 72-hour health guarantee against life-threatening illnesses. Xxxxxxx suggests the Buyer take the puppy to a licensed Veterinarian to have it examined (at Buyers cost) within 72 hours. If the puppy is found to have a pre-existing or life-threatening problem, the Buyer must notify the Breeder at once (within the 72-hour period) with the following information:

Employees working a normal work week shall receive written notice, copy to the Union, by the Thursday night of the week in which the employee is to be laid off. Employees working graveyard shift and/or a work week that includes Sunday shall receive notice of layoff a minimum of twenty-four (24) hours before the week in which the employee is to be laid off.
Hour Guarantee. All machine operators engaged in maintenance or construction work shall be guaranteed a minimum of one hundred and seventy (170) hours pay for each calendar month they are employed. Where such an employee is hired, recalled, laid off or terminated at a time which results in the employment of such an employee for less than twenty (20) calendar days in a particular calendar month, the provisions of this clause shall not apply.

Local Dispatching Rules All drivers and operators shall be dispatched according to agreed upon local dispatching rules which shall be posted. Failure of the Company and the Union to agree on such rules result in applying the Grievance Procedure. i ' Runaround Time lost when an employee is available but not in proper order under agreed upon local dispatch rules between the Company and the Union, he shall be paid at the rate from the time he should have been dispatched until actual time of trip tour with a maximum of ten (10) hours at the applicable work time rate in each twenty-four (24) hour period. Job applicants for the position of line-driver hired from sources outside the Company on trial trips instructional trips and employees of the Company that have completed the training program for the position of-line-driver as agreed between the Company and the Union, and who have been recommended for that position will be paid for the final instructional trips at a rate of five (5) cents per mile less than the single man rates as specified in Agreement. Such trips to be made with andor trainers who agree to train and will not exceed a total thousand (2000 miles on a single man operation. Line-drivers will be paid five (5) cents per mile above single man rate as specified in this Agreement on trips when he the function of trainer or instructor under this Article.
