Feed Water definition

Feed Water means the water supplied by Off-Taker to Provider and delivered to the Feed Water Delivery Point, for use in the production of Steam.
Feed Water. The feed water shall meet the standards for ‘‘Standard Seawater” as defined by ASTM Standard D4195-88, with the following additional characteristics: *** water temperature, clean, clear, and colorless, i.e. a maximum Silt Density Index (SDI) value of ***, turbidity level of ***, oil/grease level of ***, and *** pollutants and other non-naturally occurring substances, be they chemical or biological in origin. Notwithstanding the above, an infrequent reading of trace amounts of pollutants in feed water will not be viewed as non-performance.
Feed Water means the influent stream to a water treatment process. (k) “Filtrate” means the water produced from a membrane filtration unit. (l) “Foulant” means a substance that causes fouling.

Examples of Feed Water in a sentence

  • The measurement accuracy of the Off-Taker Feed Water Instruments shall correspond to the level of accuracy, as applicable, in respect of the Provider Feed Water Flow Meter and the Provider Feed Water Instruments set forth in Section 6.8(b).

  • For the avoidance of doubt, the Parties acknowledge that the performance obligations of (i) Provider hereunder are subject, as set forth herein, to the availability of Coals that conform to the Coal Blend Standards, Off-Taker’s supply of Conforming Feed Water in accordance with the Feed Water Supply Obligation, and the occurrence (as applicable) of Provider Force Majeure Event(s); and (ii) Off-Taker hereunder are subject to the occurrence (as applicable) Off-Taker Force Majeure Event(s).

  • Such protocols will include coordination of operational start up and shut down procedures, (subject to Sections 5.2, 5.3 and 6.7 through 6.12) standards in respect of Feed Water and Steam purity consistent with ASME standards, sampling testing procedures in respect of such purity standards consistent with applicable ASTM Standards, and applicable corrective action protocols for the failure to meet purity standards set forth in Schedules 5.2 and 5.3 and, as applicable, ASME standards.

  • The Provider Feed Water Flow Meter (in conjunction with the Provider Feed Water Instruments) and the Off-Taker Feed Water Instruments will be designed to automatically calculate Feed Water deliveries on a MMBTUs basis.

  • Each Party and its Affiliates shall keep all information provided by one Party to the other, including this Agreement and the terms hereof (including, without limitation, the Coke Price, and the Feed Water Processing Fee) strictly confidential and will not disclose any such information to any third party.

  • This Guaranty is made pursuant to the Coke Sale and Feed Water Processing Agreement entered into the date hereof by and between US Steel and Gateway Energy & Coke Company, LLC (“Gateway”).

Feed Water means that certain water delivered to the Interconnection Points by Supplier for use as feed stock for distilled water.

Related to Feed Water

  • Bottled water means water that is placed in a safety sealed container or package for human 696 consumption. Bottled water is calorie free and does not contain sweeteners or other additives except 697 that it may contain: (i) antimicrobial agents; (ii) fluoride; (iii) carbonation; (iv) vitamins, minerals, and 698 electrolytes; (v) oxygen; (vi) preservatives; and (vii) only those flavors, extracts, or essences derived 699 from a spice or fruit. "Bottled water" includes water that is delivered to the buyer in a reusable 700 container that is not sold with the water.

  • Finished water means the water that is introduced into the distribution system of a public water system and is intended for distribution and consumption without further treatment, except as treatment necessary to maintain water quality in the distribution system (e.g., booster disinfection, addition of corrosion control chemicals).

  • Recycled water or “reclaimed water” means treated or recycled waste water of a quality suitable for non-potable uses such as landscape irrigation and water features. This water is not intended for human consumption.

  • Used water means any water supplied by a public water supply system to a consumer's water system after it has passed through the service connection and is no longer under the control of the water supply official custodian.

  • Produced water means water recovered from an underground reservoir as a result of crude oil, condensate, or natural gas production and which may be recycled, disposed, or re-injected into an underground reservoir.

  • Ground water means water below the land surface in a zone of saturation.

  • Potable water means water which meets the requirements of 35 Ill. Adm. Code 604 for drinking, culinary, and domestic purposes.

  • Operating pressure means the pressure at which the parts of an irrigation system are designed by the manufacturer to operate.

  • Unpolluted water means water of quality equal to or better than the effluent criteria in effect or water that would not cause violation of receiving water quality standards and would not be benefited by discharge to the sanitary sewers and wastewater treatment facilities provided.

  • Receipt Point(s) means the receipt points set forth in Section 6 of this Toll Schedule.

  • Raw water means water withdrawn from a reservoir or well prior to any physical treatment of such water.

  • Meter means a device which records the demand and/or the electrical energy consumed and includes conventional and prepayment meters;

  • Non-potable water means water not safe for drinking, personal, or culinary use as determined by the requirements of 35 Ill. Adm. Code 604.

  • Receipt Point means the receipt/inception point(s) where Crude Oil is received into the Gathering System, as such points are specified in Section II of this tariff.
