Franchise Territory definition

Franchise Territory means a geographical area that a utility supplier has a right to serve based upon a franchise, a certificate of public convenience and necessity, or other legal means.
Franchise Territory means an area within the Urban Services Boundary of the City of Portland in which only a City designated hauler may collect Solid Waste and Recyclable Materials, including Yard Debris, from Residential Customers. A single Franchisee may serve more than one Franchise Territory.
