Functional Completion definition

Functional Completion means that date when the Work (or a component system thereof as defined in the Contract Documents) has been completed and is ready to be turned over by the Contractor to the Owner in accordance with the Work Schedule and certified by the Owner's Representative as being ready for operation;
Functional Completion means that the Project has reached substantial completion and is fully furnished and the entire Facility is ready to be opened for use as a Residential Care Facility and is ready for Occupancy by all initial residents, all as determined by NH under the terms of this Agreement.
Functional Completion in relation to the ASCM Virtual Mall Prototype, means completion satisfactory to ASCM in accordance with the Development Plan;

Examples of Functional Completion in a sentence

  • All controls and instrumentation will function as designed at Functional Completion of plant.

  • The Owner’s acknowledgement of the Acceptance of the Work from the CMR upon issuance of a Certificate of Acceptance by the Owner’s Representative and Architect or Engineer that all Work has been completed., with the exception of heating and cooling systems requiring Seasonal Testing, and Approved Deferred Functional Performance Testing, to Certify Functional Completion of those systems.

Functional Completion means that date when the Work, or a System: has passed the required Performance Tests that are stipulated in the Owner’s Requirements to be performed before Functional Completion; and is certified by the Owner’s Representative pursuant to Section 19.4 as being complete or ready to be put into service, or being used for the purpose intended and a Functional Completion Certificate is issued;

Related to Functional Completion

  • Substantial Completion means the stage in the progress of the work as determined and certified by the Contracting Officer in writing to the Contractor, on which the work (or a portion designated by the Government) is sufficiently complete and satisfactory. Substantial completion means that the property may be occupied or used for the purpose for which it is intended, and only minor items such as touch-up, adjustments, and minor replacements or installations remain to be completed or corrected which:

  • Substantial Completion Date means the date on which Substantial Completion occurs.

  • Final Completion means the date determined and certified by A/E and Owner on which the Work is fully and satisfactorily complete in accordance with the Contract.
