Functional Completion Certificate definition

Functional Completion Certificate means that notice issued by the Owner, or by the EPCM Contractor on the Owner's behalf, to Works Contractor certifying achievement of Functional Completion;
Functional Completion Certificate means that notice, in the form attached hereto as Appendix G – Forms, issued by the Owner to the Contractor pursuant to Article 19, certifying achievement of Functional Completion of the Work and identifying the date that the Owner takes over the Work.
Functional Completion Certificate means that notice, in the form attached hereto as Appendix G – Forms, issued by the Owner to the Contractor pursuant to Section 19.4, certifying achievement of Functional Completion and identifying the date that the Owner takes over the Work;

Examples of Functional Completion Certificate in a sentence

  • In no event shall the Contractor make application for a Functional Completion Certificate until the Work has successfully passed or completed all applicable tests and inspections under the Inspection and Test Plan and any applicable Performance Tests.

  • The Contractor may apply by notice to the Owner’s Representative for a Functional Completion Certificate not earlier than 14 days before the Work or a System will, in the Contractor’s opinion, be complete and ready for taking over by the Owner.

  • The Contractor may apply by notice to the Owner’s Representative for a Functional Completion Certificate not earlier than 3 days before the Work will, in the Contractor’s reasonable opinion, be complete and ready for taking over by the Owner.

  • Where Deficiencies are identified after issuance of a Functional Completion Certificate, the procedure for dealing with and resolving such Deficiencies shall be as set forth in Appendix D – Warranty Items Procedure.

  • The Contractor may apply by notice to the Owner’s Representative for a Functional Completion Certificate when, in the Contractor’s opinion, a System is complete and ready for taking over by the Owner.

  • If the Work is divided into Systems, the Contractor shall be entitled to apply for a Functional Completion Certificate for each System.

  • Therefore the commissioning responsibilities are set out as the responsibilities of both the Contractor and the Owner before and then after the issuance of the Functional Completion Certificate.

  • The EPCM Contractor shall provide notice to the Owner’s Representative when the EPCM Contractor believes that the Construction Work performed by a Works Contractor is ready for the issuance of a Functional Completion Certificate.

  • If the Contract or any part of the Work is terminated pursuant to Article 35 - Termination for Convenience or Article 36 - Termination for Cause, then Article 23 - Warranty shall survive such termination, and the Warranty Period, with respect to the Work or System which has received a Functional Completion Certificate, shall remain in effect notwithstanding the termination of this Contract.

  • The Functional Completion Certificate is issued when the Owner takes over the Work and, as of the date in the Functional Completion Certificate, the care, custody, and control of the Work is handed from the Contractor to the Owner.

Related to Functional Completion Certificate

  • Substantial Completion Certificate means the certificate issued and approved by the Authority indicating the date upon which the Trade Contractor Work (or a designated portion thereof) is Substantially Complete.

  • Final Completion Certificate has the meaning set forth in Section 11.6.

  • Completion Certificate means the certificate to be issued by the Engineer-in- Charge when the work/s have been completed to his satisfaction as per terms of the contract.

  • Construction Completion Certificate means a certificate of the I-Bank to the effect that the construction of the Project is complete.

  • Inspection Certificate means a report prepared by an independent authority or third party assessor who is qualified by experience and/or education to declare the Produce unfit for human consumption, unsuitable for sale or not meeting a particular specification or standard.

  • Substantial Completion Date means the date on which Substantial Completion occurs.

  • Project Completion Schedule means the progressive Project Milestones set forth in Schedule-J for completion of the Project Highway on or before the Scheduled Completion Date;

  • Substantial Completion means the stage in the progress of the work as determined and certified by the Contracting Officer in writing to the Contractor, on which the work (or a portion designated by the Government) is sufficiently complete and satisfactory. Substantial completion means that the property may be occupied or used for the purpose for which it is intended, and only minor items such as touch-up, adjustments, and minor replacements or installations remain to be completed or corrected which:

  • Completion Schedule means the fulfilment of the Related Services by the Supplier in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in the Contract;

  • Allocation Certificate has the meaning set forth in Section 1.12(b).

  • Satisfaction Certificate means the certificate materially in the form of the document contained in the Appendix to schedule 4 granted by the Customer when the Supplier has Achieved a Milestone;

  • Certificate of Substantial Completion means the certificate executed by the A/E, ODR and Contractor that documents to the best of A/E’s and ODR’s knowledge and understanding, Contractor’s sufficient completion of the work in accordance with the Contract, so as to be operational and fit for the use intended.

  • Punch List means the list of items, prepared in connection with the inspection of the Project by the Owner’s Representative or Architect in connection with Substantial Completion of the Work or a portion of the Work, which the Owner’s Representative or Architect has designated as remaining to be performed, completed or corrected before the Work will be accepted by the Owner.

  • Substantial compliance means a level of compliance with these rules where any deficiencies pose no greater risk to resident health or safety than the potential for causing minor harm.

  • Project Completion Date means the date on which the Completion Certificate is issued;

  • Construction Completion Date means the Completion Date of the Construction as specified in the Statutory Declaration of Completion for the Project;

  • Occupation Certificate means any occupation certificate as referred to in s 6.4 of the Act in respect of the Development Consent;

  • Construction Schedule means a construction schedule indicating the planned start and completion dates of the major activities of the Work as set out in Appendix [ ], a future Appendix;

  • Completion Notice means a notice issued by the Developer in accordance with clause 6.1.

  • Option Certificate means the certificate, substantially in the form set out as Schedule “A” hereto, evidencing an Option;

  • Improvement completion assurance means a surety bond, letter of credit,

  • Completion Date means the date of completion of the Services by the Service Provider as certified by the Procuring Entity

  • Final completion and acceptance means the stage in the progress of the work as determined by the Contracting Officer and confirmed in writing to the Contractor, at which all work required under the contract has been completed in a satisfactory manner, subject to the discovery of defects after final completion, and except for items specifically excluded in the notice of final acceptance.

  • Project Deliverables means the Project deliverables set out in Schedule 2. Project Material means all the material including but not limited to documents, computer software, and data stored by any means which is created by the Fellow in the course of undertaking the Project.

  • Specification Schedule means the Schedule containing details of the Specification.

  • Target Completion Date has the meaning given such term in Section 3.3(b).
