Gas Free definition
Gas Free means the Vessel’s cargo tanks are free off all natural gas vapour and under an atmosphere of inert gas.
Gas Free means a tank or space that has been thoroughly cleaned and ventilated in accordance with the requirements of AS 2865 or to current ISGOTT gas-free standards, and has been tested and certified by a competent person.

Gas Free means that the tank, compartment or container has sufficient fresh air introduced into it in order to lower the level of any flammable, toxic or inert gas to that required for any purpose;
