Gathering Fuel definition

Gathering Fuel means the number of Dth of Gas used or consumed in the operation of the Gathering System including, but not limited to, fuel, flared and vented Gas and such Gas as may be lost or unaccounted for despite the prudent operation of the Gathering System.
Gathering Fuel means that volume of Seller's Gas, expressed as a percentage of the Receipt Point Gas quantities, used or consumed as fuel in the operation of field compression on the Gathering System.
Gathering Fuel means the MMBtu of Gas used or consumed in the operation of the Gathering System and appurtenant compression and/or dehydration facilities, and lost and unaccounted for Gas that will be allocated to Producer’s Gas gathered hereunder.

Examples of Gathering Fuel in a sentence

  • On a Monthly basis, LMM shall adjust the Gathering Fuel percentage to equal the actual use of Gathering Fuel in the preceding Month.

  • Shippers shall provide to LMM Shippers’ share of Gathering Fuel, which share shall be pro rated based on Shippers’ volumes of Gas Gathered hereunder as a proportion of the volumes of all Gas Gathered into the Gathering System.

  • If the number of Dth of Shipper’s Gas received by LMM at the Receipt Point(s), after subtracting Gathering Fuel and any Plant Fuel and Shrink, are greater than Shipper’s Scheduled Nomination(s), a “Negative Imbalance” exists.

  • LMM may retain and use Shipper’s Gathering Fuel as fuel for compression and other operations on the Gathering System.

  • LMM shall calculate Shipper’s Gathering Fuel based upon actual usage and Shipper’s pro-rata share of all Gas Gathered through the relevant portion of the Gathering System.

  • The term “Balance” or “Balancing” refers to equalizing the number of Dth of Shipper’s Gas received by LMM at the Receipt Point(s) with the number of Dth constituting Shipper’s Scheduled Nomination(s) plus Gathering Fuel and any Plant Fuel and Shrink.

  • The Gathering Fee for Gathering Shipper’s Gas under this Agreement shall be the greater of thirty-five cents ($0.35) or sixteen percent (16%) of the Gross Sale Price for each Mcf of Gas, as measured at the Delivery Point following deduction for Gathering Fuel, with no surcharges or fees.

  • Whenever the number of Dth of Shipper’s Gas being delivered at the Receipt Point(s) is insufficient to support Shipper’s Scheduled Nomination(s) plus Gathering Fuel and any Plant Fuel and Shrink, Shipper shall promptly increase its Daily delivery such that the number of Dth of Shipper’s Gas being delivered at the Receipt Point(s) equals as closely as practicable Shipper’s Scheduled Nomination(s) plus Gathering Fuel and any Plant Fuel and Shrink.

  • The Reduced Fee, where applicable in this Agreement, is the greater of *** ($***) or *** percent (***%) of the Gross Sale Price for each Mcf of Gas, as measured at the Delivery Point following deduction for Gathering Fuel, with no surcharges or fees.

  • LMM shall Gather on a Guaranteed Capacity basis that quantity of Shipper’s Gas, subject to the provisions set forth in Exhibit “E”, which is necessary to fulfill Shipper’s Scheduled Nomination(s) and Shipper’s commitment to provide Gathering Fuel, and subject to Force Majeure and Maintenance.


More Definitions of Gathering Fuel

Gathering Fuel means the reduction in MMBTUs of Gas for operation of the gathering facilities including, but not limited to, compression, dehydration, and treating and lost and unaccounted for Gas but specifically excluding Plant Fuel.
Gathering Fuel. A fixed percentage of Producer’s Receipt Point MMBtus and Mcf, as applicable shall be retained by Gatherer for Gathering Fuel as follows: (i) of Receipt Point MMBtu and Mcf, as applicable per stage of compression plus (ii) of Receipt Point MMBtu and Mcf, as applicable, for lost and unaccounted-for gas on Gatherer’s system. PRESSURE: Producer will deliver Gas to Gatherer, at the Receipt Point(s), at pressures sufficient to enter Gxxxxxxx’s Gathering System against the operating pressures maintained in the Gathering System from time to time at the Receipt Point(s), but such delivery pressures may not exceed Gxxxxxxx’s MAOP at such point. Gatherer shall not have any obligation to alter its pipeline pressures, provide compression, or modify its pipeline operations.

Related to Gathering Fuel

  • Gathering System means that portion of Gatherer’s pipeline system, including all appurtenances thereto, related to the provision of gathering and transportation services provided by Gatherer pursuant to this tariff.

  • Heating fuel means fossil-based heating fuel, including oil,

  • Gatherer As defined in the preamble of this Agreement.

  • Transport Gas means the gas purchased by a Customer from a supplier other than KUB that Customer has arranged to have Delivered to KUB for delivery to the Customer by KUB.

  • Crude Oil means any liquid hydrocarbon mixture occurring naturally in the earth whether or not treated to render it suitable for transportation and includes:

  • Refinery means a facility used to produce motor fuel from crude oil, unfinished oils, natural gas liquids, or other hydrocarbons and from which motor fuel may be removed by pipeline, by marine vessel, or at a rack.

  • Gathering lines means any pipeline, equipment, facility, or building used in the transportation of oil or gas during oil or gas production or gathering operations.

  • Shipper means the party who contracts with Carrier for the transportation of Crude Petroleum under the terms of this tariff.

  • Transporter means a person engaged in the off-site transportation of hazardous waste by air, rail, highway, or water.

  • Gas means natural gas, manufactured gas, synthetic natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas or propane-air gas, or a mixture of any of them, but does not include a liquefied petroleum gas that is distributed by means other than a pipeline;

  • Gathering means any assembly, concourse or procession in or on—

  • Spent fuel means any fuel element or fuel component, solid or liquid, which has been used or exposed to radiation in a nuclear reactor;

  • Fossil fuel means natural gas, petroleum, coal, or any form of solid, liquid, or gaseous fuel derived from such material.

  • Coal means high-grade, medium-grade and low-grade category A and B coal within the meaning of the international codification system for coal established by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe and clarified in the Council decision of 10 December 2010 on State aid to facilitate the closure of uncompetitive coal mines;

  • Ethanol blended gasoline means the same as defined in section 214A.1.

  • Feedstock Gas means natural gas used as a raw material for its chemical properties in creating an end product.

  • Producer means the owner of a well or wells capable of producing oil or gas or both.

  • Refiner means any person who owns, operates, or otherwise controls a refinery.

  • Receipt Point means the receipt/inception point(s) where Crude Oil is received into the Gathering System, as such points are specified in Section II of this tariff.

  • Produced water means water recovered from an underground reservoir as a result of crude oil, condensate, or natural gas production and which may be recycled, disposed, or re-injected into an underground reservoir.

  • Delivery Point means the point(s) of connection(s) at which energy is delivered into the Grid System i.e. the Interconnection Point.

  • licensed water supplier means a company which is the holder for the time being of a water supply licence under Section 17A(1) of the 1991 Act(f);

  • Ethanol means a high octane gasoline blend stock that is used to make various grades of gasoline.

  • Storage operator means a person holding or applying for a permit.

  • Pipeline means any pipe, pipes, or pipelines used for the intrastate transportation or transmission of any solid, liquid, or gaseous substance, except water.

  • Diesel fuel means the same as that term is defined in Section 59-13-102.
