GCC Program definition

GCC Program means program to facilitate the development of a low-carbon economy and supporting the climate actions (GHG reduction projects and measures) by implementing and operating a voluntary carbon marketplace to provide recognition to and facilitate carbon finance for the GCC projects. GCC Operations Team at Doha, Qatar serves as Secretariat of GCC Program and works under the under strategic advice from the GCC Advisory Board. And decisions, pertaining to Projects or Issuance of ACRs, are made collectively by GCC Steering Committee, comprising of group of nominated and well-renowned experts and individuals, based on a positive verification report by GCC Verifier. Entire governance structure, system and the documentation framework to achieve this objective is collectively called as GCC Program;
GCC Program refer to GCC Program Framework;
GCC Program means the governance structure, systems, carbon registry, and documentation framework to facilitate the development of a low-carbon economy and support climate mitigation actions (GHG-reduction projects and measures) by implementing and operating a voluntary carbon marketplace to provide recognition of and facilitate carbon finance for GCC projects. The GCC Operations Team in Doha, Qatar serves as the Secretariat of the GCC Program and works under the strategic advice of the GCC Advisory Board. Decisions pertaining to projects or issuance of ACCs are made collectively by the GCC Steering Committee, comprised of nominated and recognized experts, based on a positive verification report by a GCC Verifier. All regulatory documents, including the baseline and monitoring methodologies, standards, processes, clarifications, and guidelines are considered and approved by the GCC Regulatory Committee.

  • (3) PROGRAM.—The term program’ means

  • Flood Program means the National Flood Insurance Program created by the U.S. Congress pursuant to the National Flood Insurance Act of 1968, the Flood Disaster Protection Act of 1973, the National Flood Insurance Reform Act of 1994 and the Flood Insurance Reform Act of 2004, in each case as amended from time to time, and any successor statutes.

  • Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System Management Program means a management program covering the duration of a state permit for a municipal separate storm sewer system that includes a comprehensive planning process that involves public participation and intergovernmental coordination, to reduce the discharge of pollutants to the maximum extent practicable, to protect water quality, and to satisfy the appropriate water quality requirements of the CWA and regulations, and this article and its attendant regulations, using management practices, control techniques, and system, design, and engineering methods, and such other provisions that are appropriate.

  • Approved program or "approved state" means a state or interstate program that has been approved or authorized by EPA under 40 CFR Part 123 (2000).
