GCC Program definition

GCC Program means program to facilitate the development of a low-carbon economy and supporting the climate actions (GHG reduction projects and measures) by implementing and operating a voluntary carbon marketplace to provide recognition to and facilitate carbon finance for the GCC projects. GCC Operations Team at Doha, Qatar serves as Secretariat of GCC Program and works under the under strategic advice from the GCC Advisory Board. And decisions, pertaining to Projects or Issuance of ACRs, are made collectively by GCC Steering Committee, comprising of group of nominated and well-renowned experts and individuals, based on a positive verification report by GCC Verifier. Entire governance structure, system and the documentation framework to achieve this objective is collectively called as GCC Program;
GCC Program refer to GCC Program Framework;
GCC Program means the governance structure, systems, carbon registry and the documentation framework to facilitate the development of a low-carbon economy and support climate mitigation actions (GHG-reduction projects and measures) by implementing and operating a voluntary carbon marketplace to provide recognition of, and facilitate carbon finance for, GCC projects. The GCC Operations Team in Doha, Qatar serves as Secretariat of the GCC Program and works under the under strategic advice of the GCC Advisory Board. Examples of GCC Program in a sentence

  • If, at any time during the Service Period, the accreditation of the GCC Verifier under an GCC Program or CDM or by a National Accreditation Body expires or is withdrawn, suspended or cancelled, then the Service Period shall be immediately suspended.

  • Where the Service Period is suspended pursuant to Clause 5.1 and the GCC Verifier's loss of accreditation is not expressed or intended by the GCC Program or the Accreditation Body to be a temporary measure, the GCC may, at its discretion, terminate this Agreement by notifying the GCC Verifier at least 15 Business days in advance of the date of termination.

  • Supplier shall indemnify and hold Company harmless from and against all losses, costs and expenses resulting from or on account of any failure by Supplier to act in good faith with regard to participation in the GCC Program.

  • Further, if Supplier fails to comply with any of the Terms and Conditions of the GCC Program and such failure causes the Company’s average cost of gas to serve retail customers to increase, Supplier shall be liable for and shall indemnify and hold Company harmless against all such costs.

  • The Supplier agrees to abide by the Terms and Conditions of the GCC Program and to act in good faith with respect to all aspects of the GCC Program, including all communications with the customers of Company.

  • In the event the GCC Program is terminated for any reason, Company will give 30 days notice to Supplier and the price of gas supplied by Supplier under this Agreement and the price of gas delivered to Supplier’s customers will be reconciled in the manner set forth in Rule F1.M of the referenced Gas Rules and Regulations or Gas Rate Schedule.

  • In the event the GCC Program is terminated for any reason, Company will give 30 days’ notice to Supplier and the price of gas supplied by Supplier under this Agreement and the price of gas delivered to Supplier’s customers will be reconciled in the manner set forth in Rule F1.M of the referenced Gas Rules and Regulations or Gas Rate Schedule.

Related to GCC Program

  • AML Program has the meaning ascribed thereto in Schedule 2.1(F)(8) hereof.

  • Pilot program means the pilot program identified and funded through the Funding Agreement and described in that Funding Agreement and its attachments.

  • Program Plan means the tobacco settlement program plan dated February 14, 2001, including exhibits to the program plan, submitted by the authority to the legislative council and the executive council, to provide the state with a secure and stable source of funding for the purposes designated by section 12E.3A and other provisions of this chapter.

  • Development Program means the implementation of the development plan.

  • Training program means an NCA-approved Iowa college, the Iowa law enforcement academy or an Iowa hospital approved by the department to conduct emergency medical care training.

  • PACE program means a program implemented by a municipality to stimulate energy efficiency and renewable energy projects in conformity with Act 270.

  • (3) PROGRAM.—The term program’ means

  • Flood Program means the National Flood Insurance Program created by the U.S. Congress pursuant to the National Flood Insurance Act of 1968, the Flood Disaster Protection Act of 1973, the National Flood Insurance Reform Act of 1994 and the Flood Insurance Reform Act of 2004, in each case as amended from time to time, and any successor statutes.

  • Virginia Stormwater Management Program or “VSMP” means a program approved by the State Board after September 13, 2011, that has been established by a locality to manage the quality and quantity of runoff resulting from land-disturbing activities and shall include such items as local ordinances, rules, permit requirements, annual standards and specifications, policies and guidelines, technical materials, and requirements for plan review, inspection, enforcement, where authorized in this article, and evaluation consistent with the requirements of this article and associated regulations.

  • Redevelopment Plan means the “Lincoln Center Redevelopment Plan” passed, adopted and approved by the City pursuant to the Resolution, and shall include any amendment of said Redevelopment Plan heretofore or hereafter made by the City pursuant to law.

  • Cooperative education program means a written voluntary agreement between and among districts to provide certain educational programs for pupils in certain groups of districts. The written agreement shall be approved by all affected districts at least annually and shall specify the educational programs to be provided and the estimated number of pupils from each district who will participate in the educational programs.

  • Software Program means the software program used by a Fund for providing Fund and account balance information including net asset value per share. Such Program may include the Lion System. In situations where the Lion System or any other Software Program used by a Fund is not available, such information may be provided by telephone. The Lion System shall be provided to Insurance Company at no charge.
