General Purpose Lanes definition

General Purpose Lanes means the Limited Access Highway lanes or main lanes with respect to the Project as delineated in Section 1 of the Technical Provisions.
General Purpose Lanes means the general purpose traffic lanes (in either or both directions) that are separated from the adjacent Priced Managed Lanes within the Section. All lanes on the Site will be considered General Purpose Lanes at all times until Substantial Completion.
General Purpose Lanes means Limited Access Highway lanes within the Existing Right of Way other than the Managed Lanes.

Examples of General Purpose Lanes in a sentence

  • In addition, Developer will have the right to conduct a speed study of the Managed Lanes, General Purpose Lanes and Frontage Roads earlier than the three-year interval, but in no event sooner than 18 months after completion of the immediately preceding speed study for the same portion of the Managed Lanes, General Purpose Lanes or Frontage Roads, if Developer in good faith believes that significant changes have occurred in the interim that will or may affect posted speed limits.

  • Notwithstanding such shortfall in the availability of Net Revenues to cover the HPTE O&M Obligations, CDOT agrees that it shall continue to perform operations and maintenance of both the I-70 MEXL Project and the I-70 General Purpose Lanes, including, but not limited to, the CDOT Services.

  • The CDOT Services shall not apply to those operations and maintenance obligations or operations and maintenance expenses existing and regularly funded by CDOT prior to the implementation of the I-70 MEXL Project, and for which the addition of the I-70 MEXL Project results in a de minimus impact on overall operations and maintenance operations and operations and maintenance expenses of the I-70 MEXL Project and the I-70 General Purpose Lanes.

  • It is the intent of the Parties that, except as specifically provided otherwise herein, CDOT shall perform the operations and maintenance of both the Gap Express Lanes and the I-25 Gap General Purpose Lanes, subject to reimbursement from HPTE for HPTE’s proportionate share of the overall operations and maintenance expenses, as further described herein.

  • The Section Developer may only close General Purpose Lanes in order to perform D&C Work and O&M Work in accordance with procedures and timeframes to be specified in the Section P3 Agreement.

  • With respect to any D&C Work performed on the General Purpose Lanes and other Non-Maintained Facilities, the Section Developer shall provide to MDOT a two-year warranty on customary terms and conditions and will be liable to MDOT for GP Latent Defects for 10 years from Substantial Completion (or, with respect to an Interim Completion Element, from Interim Completion).

  • MDOT will also have the right, without compensating the Section Developer, to implement certain enhancements to the General Purpose Lanes to accommodate vehicle operation technology enhancements (including for connected/autonomous vehicles) during the Term, provided that the enhancements must be within the footprint of the Permanent ROW, [and such enhancements may include restriping that adds lanes within the Permanent ROW] 6.

  • Such costs include, but are not limited to, CDOT’s costs incurred with respect to: (i) repair and replacement of guardrail; (ii) repair and replacement of lighting fixtures; (iii) contracts with the State Patrol for safety enforcement within the corridor (but exclusive of additional enforcement contracted by HPTE for toll evasion enforcement); and (iv) pavement maintenance on the I-25 Gap General Purpose Lanes.

  • General purpose cleaner means a product designed for general all-purpose cleaning, in contrast to cleaning products designed to clean specific substrates in certain situations. General purpose cleaner includes products designed for general floor cleaning, kitchen or countertop cleaning, and cleaners designed to be used on a variety of hard surfaces and does not include general purpose degreasers and electronic cleaners.

  • General purpose equipment means equipment, which is not limited to research, medical, scientific or other technical activities. Examples include office equipment and furnishings, modular offices, telephone networks, information technology equipment and systems, air conditioning equipment, reproduction and printing equipment, and motor vehicles.

  • General purpose adhesive means any non-aerosol adhesive designed for use on a variety of substrates. “General Purpose Adhesive” does not include (i) contact adhesives, (ii) construction, panel, and floor covering adhesives, (iii) adhesives designed exclusively for application on one specific category of substrates (i.e., substrates that are composed of similar materials, such as different types of metals, paper products, ceramics, plastics, rubbers, or vinyls), or (iv) adhesives designed exclusively for use on one specific category of articles (i.e., articles that may be composed of different materials but perform a specific function, such as gaskets, automotive trim, weather-stripping, or carpets).

  • General-Purpose Software means Software that supports general-purpose office and software development activities and is identified as such in Appendix 4 of the Contract Agreement and such other Software as the parties may agree in writing to be General-Purpose Software. Such General- Purpose Software may include, but is not restricted to, word processing, spreadsheet, generic database management, and application development software.

  • Special purpose equipment means equipment which is used only for research, medical, scientific, or other technical activities. Examples of special purpose equipment include microscopes, x-ray machines, surgical instruments, and spectrometers.
