Government Charges definition

Government Charges means all charges or duties on deposits into, or withdrawals from your account that are payable under a law of the Commonwealth or any State or Territory or any other jurisdiction whether or not you are primarily liable to pay these charges.
Government Charges means those duties, taxes, penalties, interest, fines or other charges or amounts charged or levied by CGAD or other applicable governmental authority on imported or exported goods including, without limitation, goods imported into Canada, exported from Canada or reported or released or to be reported or released under the Customs Act, the Customs Tariff, the Excise Act, the Excise Tax Act, the Special Import Measures Act and/or any other Applicable Laws relating to customs, import and/or export.
Government Charges means those duties, taxes, penalties, interest, fines, expenses, fees, claims, liabilities or other charges or levies imposed by CGAD or other applicable Government Authority in respect of imported or exported goods including goods imported into Canada, exported from Canada or reported, released and/or exported or to be reported, released and/or exported under the Customs Act, the Customs Tariff, the Excise Act, the Excise Tax Act, the Special Import Measures Act and/or any other Applicable Laws relating to customs, import and/or export, all as amended from time to time.

Examples of Government Charges in a sentence

  • Unless otherwise expressly set forth on Exhibit A, the monthly recurring fees do not include any Government Charges and/or Taxes that may be imposed by any Governmental Activity in relation to the Service.

  • Customer is responsible for payment of any Government Charges and/or Taxes except those based on Syringa Networks’ net income, personal and real property, and assets.

  • However, the Account Owner must reimburse Rabobank any external costs or expenses (e.g. legal and valuation fees, Government Charges) incurred by Rabobank in connection with a Loan Conditions Review or Loan Pricing Review.

  • The Account Owner must pay all Government Charges in relation to the Account, including any Security.

  • Buyer shall pay or cause to be paid all Government Charges on or with respect to the Product or the Transaction from the Delivery Point.


More Definitions of Government Charges

Government Charges means income tax, all additional government stamp and other duties, fees and charges that may apply to the Account whether or not you are primarily liable to pay these charges.
