Government Payment Programs definition

Government Payment Programs shall have the meaning set forth in Section 2.1(b)(v).
Government Payment Programs means Medicare, TRICARE, Medicaid, Workers’ Compensation, and any and all health maintenance organizations, preferred provider organizations, health benefit plans, health insurance plans, and other third party reimbursement and payment programs administered by a Governmental Authority.
Government Payment Programs means the Medicare and Medicaid Programs, the CHAMPUS Program, the TRICARE Program, and any other federal or state reimbursement program involving payment of governmental funds (as defined in 42 U.S.C. § 1320a 7b(f)); provided, however, that Government Payment Programs shall not include any Qualified Health Plan under the Affordable Care Act;

  • None of the Parties (nor such Parties’ counsel or accountants) has made or is making in this Agreement any representation to any other Party (or such Party’s counsel or accountants) concerning any of the Tax or Government Payment Programs effects or consequences on the other Party of the transactions provided for in this Agreement.

Related to Government Payment Programs

  • Government Programs means (i) the Medicare and Medicaid Programs, (ii) the United States Department of Defense Civilian Health Program for Uniformed Services and (iii) other similar foreign or domestic federal, state or local reimbursement or governmental health care programs.

  • Government school means a school established under section 5 of the Act, for the purpose of providing courses of instruction in pre-school, primary or secondary education.

  • Government assistance means a grant, loan, or tax increment financing that result in a financial benefit from an agency, commission, instrumentality, or other entity of the District government.
