Dental Assistants Sample Clauses

Dental Assistants. Dental Assistants will have six flexible annual leave days per annum for the first four years and eleven flexible annual leave days thereafter. Dental Assistants will be required to take some annual leave when the service closes for the Christmas break.
Dental Assistants. 98.7.1 For Employees classified under Part 4 of Schedule G, subject to this clause 98.7, the arrangement of ordinary hours of work will be established at a local/unit level to reflect clinical demand. The actual daily hours shall be determined by the relevant Manager after consultation with the Employee, provided that no Employee shall be required to work more than 7.6 hours per day without compensation for overtime.
Dental Assistants. 86.4.1 In order to terminate the employment of an Employee classified under Part 4 of Schedule G, the Employer shall give four week’s written notice, or pay four week’s wages in lieu of notice. 86.4.2 The period of notice in clause 86.4.1 shall be increased by one week if the Employee is over 45 years of age and has completed at least 2 years continuous service with the Employer at the end of the day the notice is given.
Dental Assistants. Employees classified under Part 4 of Schedule G who are temporarily appointed, in writing by the Employer, to a higher classification shall receive the higher salary for the period specified in the written appointment.

Further, Reception Centers will be allocated an additional dental assistant. Dental Assistants who do not possess a current Radiology Certificate will have nine months from the signing of this Agreement to obtain such Certificate.

Dentists shall have input on every performance appraisal of the dental assistant.
