Nurse Practitioners. (SECTION II.G. Nurse Practitioners does not apply to P103 Per Diem Nurses)
Nurse Practitioners. (a) A Nurse Practitioner will be classified as a Senior Registered Nurse.
(b) The Employer will determine the appropriate classification level following an assessment of the work value associated with the scope of practice of the position.
(c) The classification of a Nurse Practitioner will be not less than Senior Registered Nurse Level 3.
(d) To avoid doubt, a dispute about whether an assessment of the work value associated with the scope of practice of a particular nurse practitioner position has been correctly made:
(i) is a dispute for the purposes of Clause 69 – Dispute Resolution Procedure of this Agreement.
(ii) will not preclude the Employer proceeding to make an appointment to a Nurse Practitioner position.
(i) During the life of this agreement the parties will negotiate descriptors of the role for each classification of Nurse Practitioner in line with the current Senior Registered Nurses classification structure.
(ii) Should the parties be unable to reach agreement on a classification structure by 31 March 2016, this issue will be arbitrated by the Commission.
Nurse Practitioners. (a) The NP position will be scheduled standby when required by the employer. Compensation for standby will be as per Article 18.05.
(b) NPs will have the option of working a regular schedule or a ten (10) hour compressed work week schedule as per the Letter of Understanding re: Ten (10) Hour Tours (Nurse Practitioner).
(c) The Employer will ensure the Nurse Practitioner will be scheduled a minimum of one thousand nine hundred and fifty (1,950) hours in a calendar year. A normal workweek shall consist of thirty-seven and one half (37.5) hours.
Nurse Practitioners. (SECTION II.
Nurse Practitioners. 46.1 Nurse Practitioners will have 20% of their rostered hours allocated away from direct clinical duties to support them to work to their full scope of practice.
46.2 The parties recognise that Nurse Practitioner Candidates must be provided with the necessary academic and clinical support consistent with the regulator and academic requirements.
Nurse Practitioners. The FHN may have Nurse Practitioners provide FHN Services that are within their professional competence.
Nurse Practitioners. Nurse Practitioners who are assigned to work additional hours on a non-voluntary basis by the Employer, or agree to volunteer to be redeployed or reassigned as per this MOA, shall be paid at the appropriate rates of overtime and receive premiums (weekend/nights/evenings) as prescribed in the respective applicable collective agreements as for nurses in other classifications for the duration of this agreement. This is agreed to on a without precedent or prejudice basis.
Nurse Practitioners. Voluntary Extra Shifts.
Nurse Practitioners. Voluntary Extra Shifts.
