Heritage Lands definition

Heritage Lands means the lands legally described as Plan 0710874, Block 7, Lot 59, excepting thereout all mines and minerals;

Heritage Lands means the lands and premises located at 97 East 2nd Avenue in the City of Vancouver, with the following legal descriptions:

Examples of Heritage Lands in a sentence

  • In the event that the Owner fails to remedy the breach within the time allotted by the notice, the City may by bylaw and after conducting a Public Hearing in the manner prescribed by Sections 890 through 894 of the Local Government Act cancel this Agreement whereupon all use and occupation of the Heritage Lands shall thenceforth be in accordance with the zoning bylaws of the City and in accordance with all other bylaws or regulations of the City or any other laws of authority having jurisdiction.

  • Except as expressly varied or supplemented herein, this Agreement shall not prejudice or affect the rights and powers of the City in the exercise of its statutory functions and responsibilities including, but not limited to, the Local Government Act and its rights and powers under any enactments, bylaws, order or regulations, all of which, except as expressly varied or supplemented herein, are applicable to the Heritage Lands.

  • Except as expressly varied or supplemented herein, this agreement shall not prejudice or affect the rights and powers of the City in the exercise of its statutory functions and responsibilities including, but not limited to, the Local Government Act and its rights and powers under any enactments, bylaws, or regulations, all of which, except as expressly varied or supplemented herein, are applicable to the Heritage Lands.

  • The Department of Heritage, Lands and Resources of the Kwanlin Dün First Nation is established and will be directed by the Council.

  • Heritage means Heritage Bancorp Ltd.

  • Cemetery means 1 or a combination of more than 1 of the following:

  • Land means the land described in Exhibit A.

  • Youth center means any public or private facility that is primarily used to host recreational or social activities for minors, including, but not limited to, private youth membership organizations or clubs, social service teenage club facilities, video arcades, or similar amusement park facilities.

  • communal land means land under the jurisdiction of a traditional council determined in terms of section 6 of the Eastern Cape Traditional Leadership and Governance Act, (Act 4 of 2005) and which was at any time vested in -

  • South West Land Division means the South West Land Division as defined by Section 28 of the Land Act 1933-1971 excluding the area contained within the Metropolitan Area.

  • Shopping Centre means a grouping of commercial retail outlets which have been designed, developed and managed as a unit by a single owner or group of owners or tenants located on the same lot or lots with a frontage not less than 45 metres and having common on-site parking;

  • apartment building means a residential use building, or the residential use portion of a mixed-use building, other than a townhouse or stacked townhouse containing four or more dwelling units each of which shall have access to above grade common halls, stairs, elevators, and yards;

  • School building means any building in which any of the instruction, extracurricular activities, or training provided by a school is conducted, whether or not any instruction, extracurricular activities, or training provided by the school is being conducted in the school building at the time a criminal offense is committed.

  • Casino means a casino as defined in section 1 of the KwaZulu-Natal Gaming and Betting Act, 2010 (Act No. 8 of 2010);

  • Railroad means that term as defined under section 109 of the railroad code of 1993, 1993 PA 354, MCL 462.109.

  • Adjacent means either immediately contiguous to or abutting a neighboring property, lot or walkway, and excludes property, lots, or walkways across the street from, or diagonally opposite across an intersection from the subject property, lot, or walkway.

  • Detached building means any building which is not physically connected to the dwelling.

  • Winery means a business conducted by any person for

  • Community land trust means a community housing development organization whose (i) corporate

  • Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry means a mortgage licensing system developed and maintained by the conference of state bank supervisors and the American association of residential mortgage regulators for the licensing and registration of licensed mortgage loan originators.

  • Sailboat means the same as that term is defined in Section 73-18-2.

  • Historic building means a building, including its structural components, that is located in this state and that is either individually listed on the national register of historic places under 16 U.S.C. 470a, located in a registered historic district, and certified by the state historic preservation officer as being of historic significance to the district, or is individually listed as an historic landmark designated by a local government certified under 16 U.S.C. 470a(c).
