Homelessness prevention definition

Homelessness prevention means the following activities or programs designed to prevent the incidence of homelessness:
Homelessness prevention means providing people with the ways and means to address their housing and other needs to avoid homelessness.
Homelessness prevention means assistance that includes housing relocation and stabilization services and/or short- and/or medium-term Rental Assistance necessary to prevent an individual or family from moving into an emergency shelter or another place described in paragraph (1) of the Homeless definition in 24 CFR 578.3.
