HOPWA Unit definition

HOPWA Unit means a unit in the Development restricted to occupancy by a HOPWA-Eligible Household, which restrictions are more fully set forth in in the HOME/HOPWA Regulatory Agreement.

HOPWA Unit means the one single family home located at 523 NE Xxxxxx (a.k.a. 000 XX Xxxxxx) in Portland, Oregon within the housing project described above that is designated for occupancy solely by eligible persons and is operated in conjunction with other PCRI HOPWA-funded housing as a Community Residence as that term is defined at 24 CFR 574.340(a)(2002). Residents of the HOPWA Unit may be referred to in this Agreement as HOPWA Tenants. Minimum use period for the Project is sixty years from the date that the Project obtains certificate of occupancy. Monthly adjusted income means a household’s gross monthly income, adjusted for factors such a age, medical expenses, size of the family and child care expenses pursuant to 24 CFR 813.102 (1997).

Examples of HOPWA Unit in a sentence

  • Subject to Section 2.3(a)(1) above, in the event that, upon recertification of the income of a Tenant of a HOPWA Unit, the Borrower determines that the Tenant has an Adjusted Income exceeding the maximum qualifying income of a Very Low Income Household but does not exceed the qualifying limit for a Low Income Household, the Tenant may continue to occupy the Unit and, upon sixty (60) days written notice to the Tenant, the Borrower may increase the Tenant's Rent to the TCAC 60% Rent.

  • Upon completion of construction and within 90 days of initial full occupancy of the three bedroom HOPWA Unit, SUBRECIPIENT shall provide a completed HOPWA Program Report in the form provided as Attachment A.

  • Borrower shall then rent the next available HOPWA Unit to an Extremely Low Income Household that is also a HOPWA Eligible Household, to comply with the requirements of Section 2.1(a)(1) above.

  • SUBRECIPIENT, PARTENRSHIP their employees and agents, and any succeeding OWNER shall take all steps necessary to maintain the confidentiality of HIV-related information about any Eligible Person or Family member occupying or applying to occupy a HOPWA Unit.

  • At all times during the minimum use period, OWNER shall itself provide, or shall maintain an agreement with a qualified service provider to provide, appropriate supportive services to the residents of the HOPWA Unit.

  • SUBRECIPIENT anticipates initial occupancy of the HOPWA Unit by October, 2004.

  • Subject to Section 2.3 below and the HOPWA Regulations, the Rent paid by a HOPWA Eligible Household that occupies a HOPWA Unit during the HOPWA Term and that continues to reside in the Unit following the expiration or termination of the HOPWA Term pursuant to Section 2.4, must be equal to the amount specified in Section 2.2(a).

  • Upon termination of occupancy of a HOPWA Unit by a Tenant, such Unit will be deemed to be continuously occupied by a HOPWA Eligible Household if termination occurs during the HOPWA Term, and by a household of the same income level of the vacating Tenant, until such Unit is reoccupied, at which time the character of the Unit will be determined to meet the occupancy requirements of Section 2.1(b) above.

  • The Borrower shall then rent the next available HOPWA Unit to a Very Low Income Household that is also a HOPWA Eligible Household to comply with the requirements of Section 2.1(b) above.

  • Any HOPWA Unit occupied by surviving family members during a grace period remains a HOPWA Unit governed by this Agreement for the full duration of the grace period for the purpose of meeting OWNER’S obligation to provide the requisite unit.
