Hotel employee definition

Hotel employee means any individual (1) who is employed directly by the hotel employer or by a person who has contracted with the hotel employer to provide services at a hotel in the City of Oakland; and (2) who was hired to or did work an average 5 hours/week for 4 weeks at one or more hotels.
Hotel employee means a person performing work in connection with the care and maintenance of hotels and servicing of hotel guests, including but not limited to housekeeper, kitchen employee, laundry employee, room attendant, house attendant, public area attendant, turndown attendant, bell attendant, door attendant, driver, telephone operator, server, bus attendant, bartender, cashier, host, concierge, reservation attendant, and front desk attendant.
Hotel employee or “employee” means any natural person who works full-time or part-time performing housekeeping or room service duties at a hotel for or under the direction of the hotel employer or any subcontractor of the hotel employer for wages or salary or remuneration of any type under a contract or subcontract of employment.

  • Seller and its property manager shall make available to Purchaser and/or its property manager, to the extent permitted by law, information within its possession or control regarding each Hotel employee reasonably requested by Purchaser, including salaries and duties and length of service, and other compensation and fringe benefits, and whether such Hotel employee is participating in a group health plan maintained by Seller or its manager or any of their affiliates through the exercise of COBRA benefits.

  • Such spaces may be in a separate lot that is off-site and designated solely for Hotel employee parking.

HOTEL LIABILITIES: (i) All of the Liabilities of Hotel under or to be retained or assumed by Hotel or any Hotel Subsidiary pursuant to this Agreement or any other Transaction Agreement; (ii) any Financing Obligation of Hotel and/or the Hotel Subsidiaries; (iii) all Liabilities for payment of outstanding drafts of Hotel or the Company attributable to the conduct of the Hotel Business to the extent not considered a Company Liability existing as of the Distribution Date; (iv) all Liabilities transferred to or assumed by Hotel or the Hotel Subsidiaries in the Restructuring; (v) all other Liabilities arising out of or in connection with any of the Hotel Assets or the Hotel Business; and (vi) all other Liabilities of Hotel and the Hotel Subsidiaries not constituting Company Liabilities including, without limitation, the obligations of the Company to purchase shares of WHGI upon exercise of a put option agreement by American National Bank and Trust Company.
Hotel employee means any person who is employed by Seller in connection with the operation or management of the Hotel.

  • School employee means (1) a teacher, substitute teacher, school administrator, school superintendent, guidance counselor, psychologist, social worker, nurse, physician, school paraprofessional or coach employed by a local or regional board of education or working in a public elementary, middle or high school; or (2) any other individual who, in the performance of his or her duties, has regular contact with students and who provides services to or on behalf of students enrolled in a public elementary, middle or high school, pursuant to a contract with the local or regional board of education.
