Hydropower Project definition

Hydropower Project means either: (a) a new hydropower facility, including impoundment facilities, diversion facilities, and pumped storage facilities that use the flow of water to generate electricity or storage, at an existing dam; or (b) a project that involves construction, repair, maintenance, or significant expansion of turbines at an existing hydropower facility, including impoundment facilities, diversion facilities, and pumped storage facilities that use the flow of water to generate electricity or storage, located at an existing dam or of an existing hydropower dam (a “Modernized or Retooled Hydropower Project”).
Hydropower Project means the hydropower station project located in Yingchuan, legally owned and operated by the Object Company.
Hydropower Project means any development which uses a flow of wa- ter as a source of electrical or mechanical power, or which regulates the flow of water for the purpose of generating electrical or mechanical power. A hydropower project development includes all powerhouses, dams, water con- duits, transmission lines, water impoundments, roads, and other appurtenant works and structures.
