STATUS VERIFICATION SYSTEM This “Status Verification System” requirement, also referred to as “E-Verify”, only applies to contracts issued through a Request for Proposal process and to sole sources that are included within a Request for Proposal.
Verification system means the system maintained by the department under section 19-24.1-31 for verification of registry identification cards.
State electronic verification system means the system described in Section 26-61a-103.
Number Portability Administration Center or "NPAC" means one (1) of the seven (7) regional number portability centers involved in the dissemination of data associated with ported numbers. The NPACs were established for each of the seven (7) original Xxxx Operating Company regions so as to cover the fifty (50) states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. territories in the North American Numbering Plan area. "Numbering Plan Area" or "NPA" is also sometimes referred to as an area code. It is a unique three-digit indicator that is defined by the "X," "X" and "C" digits of each 10-digit telephone number within the NANP. Each NPA contains 800 possible NXX Codes. There are two (2) general categories of NPA. "Geographic NPA" is associated with a defined geographic area and all telephone numbers bearing such NPA are associated with services provided within that geographic area. A "Non-Geographic NPA," also known as a "Service Access Code" (SAC Code), is typically associated with a specialized Telecommunications Service which may be provided across multiple geographic NPA areas; 500, Toll Free Service NPAs, 700, and 900 are examples of Non-Geographic NPAs. "NXX," "NXX Code," "Central Office Code," or "CO Code" is the three- (3)-digit Switch entity code which is defined by the "D," "E" and "F" digits of a ten- (10) digit telephone number within the NANP. "Operational Support Systems" or "OSS" shall have the meaning set forth in Section 12. "Optional Testing" is testing conducted by CenturyLink, at the request of CLEC, that is in lieu of testing CLEC should complete to isolate trouble to the CenturyLink network prior to submitting a trouble ticket to CenturyLink.
Busy Line Verification (BLV means a service whereby an End User requests an operator to confirm the busy status of a line.
Database Management System (DBMS) A system of manual procedures and computer programs used to create, store and update the data required to provide Selective Routing and/or Automatic Location Identification for 911 systems. Day: A calendar day unless otherwise specified. Dedicated Transport: UNE transmission path between one of CenturyLink’s Wire Centers or switches and another of CenturyLink’s Wire Centers or switches within the same LATA and State that are dedicated to a particular customer or carrier. Default: A Party’s violation of any material term or condition of the Agreement, or refusal or failure in any material respect to properly perform its obligations under this Agreement, including the failure to make any undisputed payment when due. A Party shall also be deemed in Default upon such Party’s insolvency or the initiation of bankruptcy or receivership proceedings by or against the Party or the failure to obtain or maintain any certification(s) or authorization(s) from the Commission which are necessary or appropriate for a Party to exchange traffic or order any service, facility or arrangement under this Agreement, or notice from the Party that it has ceased doing business in this State or receipt of publicly available information that signifies the Party is no longer doing business in this State.
Earned value management system means an earned value management system that complies with the earned value management system guidelines in the ANSI/EIA-748.
Busy Line Verification (BLV) means a service whereby an End User requests an operator to confirm the busy status of a line.
E-Verify system means an Internet-based system operated by the United States Department of Homeland Security that allows participating employers to electronically verify the employment eligibility of newly hired employees; and
Database Management System (“DBMS”) is a computer process used to store, sort, manipulate and update the data required to provide Selective Routing and ALI.
Retirement system means a retirement plan or system that is established by or pursuant to title 38.

Acceptable earned value management system means an earned value management system that generally complies with system criteria in paragraph (b) of this clause.
EPSDT means early and periodic screening, diagnosis, and treatment.
Safety Management System means a systematic approach to managing safety, including the necessary organisational structures, accountabilities, policies and procedures;
aerodrome control service means air traffic control service for aerodrome traffic;
Depository System Participant means any participant in the Depository’s book- entry system.
Information system means a discrete set of information resources organized for the collection, processing, maintenance, use, sharing, dissemination, or disposition of information (44 U.S.C. 3502).
Affidavit of Small Business Enterprise Certification means the fully completed, signed, and notarized affidavit that must be submitted with an application for SBE certification. Representations and certifications made by the applicant in this Affidavit are made under penalty of perjury and will be used and relied upon by City to verify SBE eligibility and compliance with SBE certification and documentation requirements.
E-Verify Program above means the employment verification program administered by the United States Department of Homeland Security, the Social Security Administration, or any successor program.
Data Collection System means software designed for collection, tracking and reporting 17 outcomes data for Resident enrolled in the FSP Programs.
Distribution System Code means the code approved by the Board which, among other things, establishes the obligations of the distributor with respect to the services and terms of service to be offered to customers and retailers and provides minimum, technical operating standards of distribution systems;
Quality Management System means a set of interrelated or interacting elements that organisations use to direct and control how quality policies are implemented and quality objectives are achieved;
Production System means a live SAP system used for running Licensee’s internal business operations and where Licensee’s data is recorded.
Leak-detection system means a system capable of detecting the failure of either the primary or secondary containment structure or the presence of a release of hazardous waste or accumulated liquid in the secondary containment structure. Such a system must employ operational controls (e.g., daily visual inspections for releases into the secondary containment system of aboveground tanks) or consist of an interstitial monitoring device designed to detect continuously and automatically the failure of the primary or secondary containment structure or the presence of a release of hazardous waste into the secondary containment structure.
Distribution System means the system of wires and associated facilities between the delivery points on the transmission lines or the generating station connection and the point of connection to the installation of the consumers;
