Indicated report definition

Indicated report means any report of child abuse or neglect made to the Department for which it is determined, after an investigation, that credible evidence of the alleged abuse or neglect exists.
Indicated report means a report of child abuse or neglect supported by facts which warrant a finding by a preponderance of evidence that abuse or neglect is more likely than not to have occurred.
Indicated report means any report of child abuse or neglect made to the Department pursuant to the Abused and Neglected Child Reporting Act [325 ILCS 5] for which it is determined, after an investigation, that credible evidence of the alleged abuse or neglect exists.
