Individual Disability Policy definition

Individual Disability Policy shall have the meaning set forth in Section 6(c).

  • In addition, Executive shall be reimbursed for the cost (not to exceed $333.00 per month) of a Northwestern Mutual Individual Disability Policy currently in force covering Executive.

Nothing in this paragraph alters the Company’s obligations under applicable law, which may, in certain circumstances, result in the suspension or alteration of the foregoing time periods.

  • Long-Term Disability means the Grantee is receiving long-term disability benefits under the Employer’s long-term disability plan.

  • Disability or Disabled means that during the Elimination Period and your Own Occupation Period you are, as a result of Physical Disease, Injury, Mental Disorder, Substance Abuse or Pregnancy, unable to perform one or more of the Material Duties of your Own Occupation, and, due to such inability, your Work Earnings are less than 80% of your Indexed Predisability Earnings, and you are incapable of earning 80% or more of your Indexed Predisability Earnings.   • Permanent and Total Disability means any medically determinable physical or mental impairment rendering an individual unable to engage in any substantial gainful activity, which disability can be expected to result in death or which has lasted or can be expected to last for a continuous period of not less than 12 months.

  • Disability benefits means any cash payments which are payable to a covered individual for all or part of a period of disability pursuant to P.L.1948, c.110 (C.43:21-25 et al.).
