Institution for the Care of the Aged definition

Institution for the Care of the Aged means a building or buildings which provide housing for senior citizens aged sixty-two (62) and older and which include seniors-specific amenities and services that meet the nutritional, social, recreational, medical, safety and transportation needs of the residents, as further defined in Chapter 21.72 of the Code of the City of Annapolis, as may be amended.
Institution for the Care of the Aged means a facility, as defined in Section 21.04.336, which has received a special exception under Chapter 21.72 of the Code of the City of Annapolis.

  • Qualified long-term care services means services that meet the requirements of Section 7702(c)(1) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, as follows: necessary diagnostic, preventive, therapeutic, curative, treatment, mitigation and rehabilitative services, and maintenance or personal care services which are required by a chronically ill individual, and are provided pursuant to a plan of care prescribed by a licensed health care practitioner.

  • Primary care provider (PCP) means, for the purpose of this plan, professional providers that are family practitioners, internists, and pediatricians. For the purpose of this plan, gynecologists, obstetricians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants may be credentialed as PCPs.
