Intelligent Transport System definition

Intelligent Transport System means a system in which information and communication technology is applied in the field of road transport, including infrastructure, vehicles and users, and in traffic management and mobility management, as well as for an interface with another mode of transport.

  • commercial air transport means an aircraft operation involving the transport of passengers, cargo, or mail for remuneration or hire.

The term includes any source of water and any collection, treatment, storage, and distribution facilities under control of the operator of the system and used primarily in connection with the system, and any collection or pretreatment storage facilities not under such control which are used primarily in connection with the system.

  • Process Wastewater means any water which, during manufacturing or processing, comes into direct contact with or results from the production or use of any raw material, intermediate product, finished product, by-product, or waste product.
