Intensive Land Use definition

Intensive Land Use means that either major modification and/or substantial utilization is made of the landscape. Examples would include commercial facilities and major structures such as a golf course clubhouse.

Related to Intensive Land Use

  • land use means the purpose for which land is or may be used lawfully in terms of a land use scheme, existing scheme or in terms of any other authorisation, permit or consent issued by a competent authority, and includes any conditions related to such land use purposes;

  • Area means Monterey County, San Benito County, and Santa Cruz County.

  • Water-oriented use means a use that is water-dependent, water-related, or water-enjoyment, or a combination of such uses.

  • Intensive Care Unit means that part or unit of a Hospital established for and devoted to providing intensive medical and nursing care for Inpatients.

  • School building means any building in which any of the instruction, extracurricular activities, or training provided by a school is conducted, whether or not any instruction, extracurricular activities, or training provided by the school is being conducted in the school building at the time a criminal offense is committed.
