If on any day of Confinement, the Insured Person is admitted to an Intensive Care Unit, this benefit shall be payable for the Eligible Expenses charged on the intensive care services.For the avoidance of doubt, the Eligible Expenses so incurred and payable under this benefit shall not be payable under Section 3(a) of this Part 6.

We will pay charges for each day of Intensive Care Unit confinement, up to the Daily Maximum Benefit shown in the Schedule of Benefits.
